The main objective of this letter was to appoint John Daniel as the next head of LEF and it is more than evident that Joshua Daniel did not sign this letter and the only reason for that could be that John Daniel was not Joshua Daniel's choice. What is the reason for Joshua Daniel not wanting John Daniel to be the next head?
8. After this letter was read in May, Joshua Daniel was virtually a captive in the hands of Lily Daniel and all the other vultures in head quarters. One can only imagine what kind of harassment Joshua Daniel may have been put through to make him sign this letter. Surely there must be many eye witnesses to what Joshua Daniel was put through during those preceding 5 months before his death. If an investigation were to start, what all will come to light? There surely will be many paper trails and proofs of phone conversations and it is not difficult to implicate these rogues if some investigation were to start. Are Lily Daniel and her stooges ready to face an investigation?
9. The most dreadful question is, since Joshua Daniel was not giving in to signing this letter, was there some kind of foul play to eliminate him? One of the big allegations that Betty Daniel made in print was that her dad told her that Lily Daniel was starving him and if starving him was recommended by doctors as one of the treatments, is there a medical justification for this kind of drastic medical treatment? He died in a hospital and the hospital should have records of his vitals (height, weight, blood pressure etc.) at the time of admission to the hospital. If he was down to a mere 90 pounds (40 kgs) in a matter of 5 months, why was there no alarm? What medical condition that Joshua Daniel had resulted in this kind of abnormal weight loss? Were doctors notified about this? If so, what did doctors do to treat this condition?
10. It is common knowledge that Joshua Daniel had many health complications. Who were the doctors/specialists who provided medical care and treatment to Joshua Daniel from May'2014 and Oct'2014? Will the health records provided by these doctors stand public scrutiny? For all practical purposes, Joshua Daniel needs to be considered as a public figure and the many people who followed him need to know that Joshua Daniel died in spite of best efforts by his family and others to prolong his life. At the minimum, people should know that he was given the best treatment available to keep him physically comfortable till his last breath. The last thing that people who ardently followed him should hear after Joshua Daniel's death is that their "beloved leader" suffered with hunger pangs and died of starvation.
11. If there is any truth to the allegations Betty Daniel is making that her father whispered to her that Lily Daniel is starving him, there needs to be an unbiased investigation into these allegations and each and every incident leading up to the death of Joshua Daniel needs to be scrutinized. Given the highly controversial and unethical practices Lily Daniel and her stooges are employing to run LEF, nothing can be taken for granted. All the people who "idolized" Joshua Daniel and who so proudly claim to be his "spiritual children" should show their devotion not in just words but in their actions and get to the bottom of it.
12. It still beats me how Lily Daniel could successfully hide away her husband for 5 months and allegedly not only deny him medical treatment but also food and there by torture him like this and all of this happened when he was in Chennai where he was not only a well-known figure but also an "idol" to many LEF people.
13. All they need to do is give a written complaint to the police that they suspect that there is some foul play with their dad's death and that they want it to be investigated. ReplyDeleteBetty Daniel has posted a confused and very garbled harangue on Facebook which nevertheless contains a clear repeat of a previous accusation that her mother deliberately starved her father during his last illness. In the same post she claims that she receives countless requests from alleged 'admirers' that she should appear ('perform'!) at the forthcoming May retreat. She suggests that this is what her father wanted. She wants her mother and brother John to invite her to 'appear'. Notwithstanding, she clearly disikes her own family (can't blame her for that.....) but expresses her admiration for Donald Trump, whom she sees as a good and honourable family man (she seems not to consult the more sober media accounts, and neither, apparently, has she heard of the Ivana Trump scandal). Does she now expect her mother, whom she quite recently publicly described as a Jezebel, to invite her to take the platform in Lily's Beulah Gardens theatre? Betty is very desperate to regain a foothold in the LEF cult.

She claims that her appearance on an obscure Telegu TV station (dubiously described as an 'invitation') is a 'miracle', allowing her to 'minister to' millions of people (has she actually bothered to count the actual viewings of her You Tube 'messages'? You wouldn't need a calculator, and most of her You Tube hits are undoubtedly people like us who cannot resist checking what further deluded 'spiritual advice' she is being permitted to dish out.....as with those videos of unbelievably huge snakes etc., morbid curiosity sometimes outweighs good taste and common sense). Betty credits her self-attributed reputation as a spiritual giant to various unnamed mentors in the USA (probably the same people who mentored Benny Hinn, Paula White etc., money-grabbing apostates, more mentally stable than Betty, who sought fame, but have achieved notoriety. She has openly admired spiritual hirelings such as Paula White and the late William Branham).
Her business acumen was gained, Betty writes, from a named American woman - Betty, in reality, owes this person no thanks, since presumably this mentor is responsible for the fact that the only reviews Betty receives online for her real estate activities are bad ones from disenchanted customers who demanded their money back (unsuccessfully) and/or withdrew their custom.
Betty states that what she writes is not for 'scoffers' (i.e. discriminating folk like you and me !); somewhere in her addled mind she must realise that there is something unconvincing about her confused ramblings, so she does not want discerning readers to point this out to her less discerning FB 'friends' (if any......as someone pointed out on WB previously, most of her FB friends are probably just amusing themselves by reading her outpourings). Betty does not seem to realise that barring/unfriending people on FB does not stop them reading her posts. The circle of people who in reality have less than noble reasons for being her FB friends is far too wide (although Betty naively sees a large number of - pretend - FB friends as a feather in her cap!).
One could go on.... however, the problem with Betty's evidence in any potential enquiry into her father's death is that there is far too much other evidence on FB and here that Betty herself is prone to confusion, delusion, and exaggeration. Nevertheless if anyone does take the initiative in requesting an investigation into the last few months of Joshua Daniel's life, and the manner of his death, who knows what interesting information may yet come to light? I doubt that most of his family members or henchmen would do this; too much to lose. A more permanent way of disempowering this toxic family would be to stop supporting LEF and watch the Daniel family slink back into the obscurity from which it emerged, and which most of its members (including Betty) deserve. Please do this!
I believe Joshua wanted John to be in charge, this was always his plan. John was a OK person except when he tried to dominate from ecclesiastical pride. He was very bad speaker. But I guess that is not his fault, he lived a clean life as far as I know, but trying to dominate from ecclesiastical pride or privilege is totally wrong, you don't get bonus points based on your parents or grandparents life. John was very mean too me as was Joshua and wife.

Lily did not kill her husband, yes Lily is an insane person who tries to dominate from ecclesiastical pride, like the catholic church, yes she is self righteous snob who has one set of rules for herself and another for every else but she did not kill her husband, Joshua wanted John to be in control, but now John has only female children so it obvious the model of family ruler-ship has been taken care of by God.
So at the end of the day God is in control.

DeleteIf LEF survives the 'reign' of John Daniel (which I hope it does not), I do not think that the fact that his offspring are all girls will prevent someone plotting to put one of them on the 'throne' of LEF. It is certainly a biblical principle that women should not preach, or in any other way usurp the leadership of men in a spiritual setting. Whilst Joshua Daniel kind of acknowledged this where other people's wives and daughters were concerned (thereby further preserving the Daniel family's unique position), he failed to apply it to his own family. Lily Daniel has 'preached' (I use this word somewhat mockingly) on countless occasions, and has clearly been usurping male authority for many years and in many ways. She described this to me as needing to 'help Joe out', despite the simultaneous presence of men who could have preached, and probably more ably than her husband. Betty Daniel 'preaches' (also used mockingly, or as she might put it, 'scoffingly'!) wherever she can get anyone to listen. Lydia Daniel largely remains behind the scenes, but has clearly been given admin. authority in financial and property matters which in a real church would be the responsibility of elected (male) deacons. Even the in-law, Birgit Daniel, has apparently been accorded the special title 'missionary to Asia'. And what about the power undoubtedly being wielded by Francis Daniel's widow? What about the power that was most definitely exercised by the widow of N. Daniel (elevated in some LEF-lovers' minds almost to the status of some kind of Roman Catholic so-called saint, referred to so reverently, and with bated breath, as 'Mother Daniel' by her LEF worshippers)?
Nothing will prevent Deborah Daniel or any of her four sisters being manipulated into some kind of 'leadership' if John Daniel were to be removed, except their own integrity. Let us hope that at the ages of approximately 23 downwards they have acquired some, despite their oppressive and misleading upbringing.
Yes, God is in control of everything all the time, but John Daniel's lack of male offspring does not necessarily signify the end of the Daniel regime and the LEF cult generally. Only the willingness of LEF people to acknowledge the truth about this cult, and then turn their backs on all of its tentacles everywhere will do that. The fact that God is in control does not remove believers' responsibility to separate themselves from sin.
Widow of N. Daniel treated me very fairly, she never held grudge against me. She had genuine ministry, she never tried to control me or asked for money, its better to let God separate the wheat from the tares, I certainly am not interested in some grudge against some children.

She was really a loving caring person. She mentioned how Washingtons caused so much split in LEF i am sure there are lot more who brought down LEF to the streets behind the scene. If it was my remark about the Daniel girls, this was not the result of any grudge, but simply a comment that everyone, including, and perhaps especially, the Daniel girls, is in danger of being used in the interests of making sure that LEF continues, and does so under some kind of Daniel headship.
It would be lovely if they couod be allowed to break free and follow their own choices in terms of worship etc.

DeleteGood to read that Mrs. N Daniel realised the evil that was happening and how she had been made a participant in it. However I had heard that she did not treat her daughter -in -law, Lily, very well when the children were young. The real problem is the way such people were and are put on pedestals, whether or not they want to be. Perhaps this gives a wrong impression of the actual power they do/did wield?
Gary: Good to read that your experience of Mrs. N. Daniel was positive. How did her son Joshua become so awful, I wonder?
If Mr. N Daniel had followed biblical principles in terms of encouraging local, independent churches led by local men, with local accountability to the local membership, instead of the propagating of central government by him and his family, maybe the power-seekers would not have got footholds , and the corruption would not have been able to become so firmly rooted throughout. Was it N Daniel's idea to be succeeded by Joshua, or was it Joshua's, or someone else's, after he died?
For me Joshua decline was gradual, people worshiped him too much, when Betty ran away from home to marry, things got much worse. They got pulled into deception via "Triumphalism", at least that is what i think about it. Plus the had ultra high standards that they did not follow themselves.

The fact of the matter is that LEF is a multi-crore organisation that fails to pay its labourers! This is false accusation to hide the dirty secrets of LEF financial irregularities. DeleteOh my God..i never thought this way.That is why John daniel never came to see his Dad who is on death bed those 5 months, though betty and james were present.As far as i know Dr.Jemima, a physician and Helen Gnanakalanjiam who did certificate course in cardiology after her MBBS treated joe in his house.Only when he was sick he was shifted to Vijaya hospitals inbetween.I can findout the details of how he was doing during those visits and his weight loss..whether he is really starved..i'l try to post to you.But one thing is sure that he is in cardiac failure and diuretics were given continously to maintain the volume overload..but drastically coming down to 40kg is to be taken seriously...but why would he not want john,his son not to be head of his organisation and lily cunningly trying to enforce upon him is still a haunting question to me....

No one would say that people have to volunteer for the work at a church. He had all his heart surgeries in the US and we know without a shadow of doubt that Joshua Daniel should've been under the care of a doctor in the US. Did Lily Daniel notify and take the advice of these doctors when Joshua Daniel fell critically ill in India? Did she consult them and update them on what was happening with him in India? Can Lily Daniel give any proof of communicating with the doctors in the US either by email or through phone calls? What was the advice of those doctors? Did Lily Daniel follow the instructions and advice of Joshua Daniel's doctors from the US? Now if she neither consulted Joshua Daniel's doctors in the US nor worked with the doctors in India to give him appropriate treatment, then we know that there needs to be some strong reason for that. What is that reason? Does this have anything to do with Joshua Daniel's being adamant about not wanting sign the letter appointing John Daniel as the head? One way or the other did Lily Daniel and John Daniel get what they wanted? Let mom and son team have some good answers for these questions as it it just a matter of time before they are going to be bombarded with these questions...
