THIS IS TO END ALL SPECULATIONS ABOUT THE FOREIGN "PREACHER" WE MENTIONED EARLIER...

Here is as explicit as we can get with this issue. This is the information sent to us from someone close to the family. While we understand that to err is human, there are some human errors that take a very heavy toll on people. Unfortunately, this gross moral failure of a man whom the Daniel family brought in to LEF as a "mighty preacher" is something that cannot be brushed aside so easily. While things like these may be very common in the western world, these are not common in India and they are much less common in Indian Christian circles. The high-handedness of Daniels to decide unanimously whom to bring to parade on LEF stages is proving to be catastrophic. What procedure is in place to decide whom to allow on LEF stages? Which committee decided that John Branch be allowed to be a regular preacher in LEF retreats? Who monitors on a regular basis to periodically assess that the preachers who are allowed on LEF stages are not showing erratic behaviors? Who decides how much these "foreign preachers" are paid? Also, how was it even decided that John Branch was worthier than many many LEF evangelists to come and preach in the retreats? Why were JB's wife and children not seen joining JB during his visits to India? If JJD can bring his whole circus troupe, why couldn't JB bring his family along? How do we know that JB had the support of his spouse and children to be in India two times a years for extended period of time?
It is just immensely clear that whoever comes in contact with this cursed Daniel family is bound to be destroyed. The "one man show" of Daniel family is disastrous to both individuals and families alike. Dear LEF folks, please open your eyes and see how dire and hopeless the situation is. The rogue mom and her wretched children have nothing good to offer for the well being of your children and families.
HERE IS A VERY ERUDITE ANALYSIS FROM ONE OF OUR COMMENTATORS ON THIS JOHN BRANCH'S EPISODE AS IT RELATES TO LEF AND DANIEL FAMILY:
John Branch was never 'big' in anyone's eyes except those of naive retreat attenders in India. We are not talking about a man with acknowledged and major preaching gifts, but an obscure American man pounced upon by Joshua Daniel because he (John Branch) attributed the recovery of his son from a drowning accident to the dubious 'dead-raising powers' of Joshua Daniel himself. John Branch's preaching style was imitative, uninspired, and uninspiring; he seemed to spend most of his 'pastoral experience' in the USA conducting funerals. If LEF attenders genuinely benefited in any way from his appearances on the platform, it was simply to escape for a while from the even more tedious ramblings of the Daniel family, and the carefully schooled 'testimonies' of those they instruct to give them.
Joshua Daniel saw a potential dupe in John Branch, a man who felt deeply beholden to him, and who would therefore submit to him unquestioningly; a man who was unknown and unrecognised as anything special in his own setting, and would therefore very likely jump at the chance of rehearsing his 'preaching' skills in front of thousands of undiscriminating Indians, many of whom could not even understand what he was saying firsthand.
The temptation to be unquestioningly admired and respected by so many twice a year for the forseeable future was too much for John Branch to resist. Timothy was warned to 'lay hands on no man suddenly'. Why? Probably because a call to ministry has to be proven and recognised by other believers. It needs to be Divine and it needs to be confirmed and agreed by mature Christian church leaders; in this case it appears merely to have satisfied the will of one aging man who wanted people on the platform he regarded as 'his' who would suit his 'western' aspirations, without expecting to exercise the independence of thought that usually accompanies being a westerner.
John Branch was encouraged by the Daniels, and by many 'ordinary' LEF attenders, to 'think of himself more highly than he ought'. He was encouraged by Joshua Daniel, and latterly by Lily Daniel and John Daniel, to abandon his family in the USA in order to enjoy the unaccustomed adulation he received in India. As with secular 'celebrities', unwarranted adulation so often leads to sin, and particularly to sexual sin.
Joshua Daniel and family bear responsibility, together with John Branch himself, for what has happened to this family. No wonder Lily and John Daniel wanted to hush up John Branch's adultery and divorce by lying about a visa, and why they have been trying to blame his poor wife, Marcia.
