When marriages are brokered by people who do not know the individuals whose marriages they are brokering, they will result in collateral damage. One such marriage brokered by Lily Daniel seems to taunting her and the wicked old woman now seems to be stuck between the devil and the deep sea. A marriage that is supposed to be a celebration of union between two individuals and their extended families has turned into living hell for many in LEF. The immaturity of the parents and their obsequious behavior made them to hand over the marriages of their children to Lily Daniel and other such marriage brokers in LEF and this is now seem to be causing enormous trauma to everybody related to the couple. While the particulars of how and what went wrong in this particular marriage is really not something I want to focus on, I would definitely like my readers to draw their attention to the poor conflict resolution skills of LEF leadership. John Daniel, an immature fool that he was used the LEF May retreat to tell some juicy stories about the couple whose marriage was already in great deal of turmoil. What purpose did this serve except give publicity to a bad situation that is now made worse as the story is promoted by John Daniel to become the headline of the gossip column of LEF's unofficial tabloid magazines? Of course, John Daniel took sides with the side that he thought was wronged while his mother Lily Daniel passively supported the other side as she has close family ties with other party and it is believed that Lily Daniel gave LEF board memberships to the members of this family. John Daniel who works in the style of a bull in a China shop kicked up a riot with his mad ramblings from his pedestal in that God forsaken retreat that concluded a couple of weeks ago. All of this turmoil and emotions raising high (thanks to John Daniel's generous contribution of making bad things worse) just precipitated with a sudden death in one of the families. Some rather unpleasant and ugly things are reported to have happened during the funeral by people concerned by using a small child from the family as pawn to show the strength of one side over the other side. Then the whole family apparently ran to the police station and the police finally did what was legally correct. Just like there was no respect to the institution of marriage that Lily Daniel brokered in this family, there was no respect for the departed soul around whose dead body all of this ugliness took place. How I wish that someone pulled Lily Daniel also to the police station and handed over this old witch to the police and told them that Lily Daniel was the author of this marriage and many such marriages that have become a hell for many LEF families...
