Now these poor people are mercilessly driven away from their ministries and more importantly from these prayer halls which they built with their own sweat and blood. These people are running pillar to post looking for justice and wanting someone to help them to get their properties back. But then how can these people prove that they put their own money to build these prayer halls? As convenient as it is, the properties are all in LEF's name and the registration papers are all in safe keeping in "Head Quarters." Peter Paul and Damodar, the lead thugs and stooges of Lily Daniel, are the master minds behind the scheme of driving away these evangelists (who also happen to be the actual owners) from these "prayer halls." Now these two rogues, Peter Paul and Damodar are on a rampage to consolidate all the properties that were "donated" to LEF: more like usurped by LEF, rather Daniel family. Peter Paul apparently has the General Power of Attorney from LEF president - who ever that president is now and he is now diligently securing these properties for safe keeping to enjoy once Lily Daniel exits the world.
(As a side note, we hear that they ran into some litigation with appointment of John Daniel as LEF Principal Secretary as he is not a naturalized citizen of US but is considered as American by birth. There seems to be some kind of a catch with the appointment of John Daniel as Principal Secretary of LEF which is registered as indigenous religious public society in India. It is possible that John Daniel may not be legally considered as an indigenous Indian on account of his American citizenship that he got because Lily Daniel traveled half way across the world to deliver him in USA to make him an American citizen and this we hear may disqualify him from being the LEF President. We heard that they tried but failed to appoint Joseph Daniel who was born in India as the rubber stamp President. So, for all we know Lily Daniel may have appointed herself as the LEF Principal Secretary. If this is true, then the likes of Damodar, Peter Paul, Gunalan, John Raja, Daniel Mani may all be waiting as vultures to see this old lady Lily Daniel to kick the bucket.)

Charles, Jeremiah, Abraham, Mark and other LEF members under the leadership of Peter Paul carried out their agitation on a busy main road between Satenapalli- Madipadu and blocked the traffic which resulted in many vehicles being stranded on this busy road leading to heavy delays to travelers. These shameless LEF fellows are now dragging their dirty business on to the streets. What a great legacy and reputation to boast of !!! It now confirms the rumors about Peter Paul and his thug activities.

AGITATION NEAR LEF CHURCH
Satenapalli: Many LEF members started an agitation near LEF church in the village of Pakalpadu on Wednesday night as they alleged that a sub inspector manhandled a pastor. LEF pastors P. Shivaji, M. Charles, Jeremiah, Abraham, Mark and other LEF members under the leadership of Peter Paul arrived at LEF church to conduct a fasting prayer. When these pastors along with other church members sat down inside the church to do the prayers, sub inspector Venkata Rao along with his staff entered the church and asked these people to go out of the church. LEF people refused to get out and got into an argument with police telling the police that they have come here to pray and that they will not leave the place. As the argument got bigger, it is alleged that the Sub Inspector lost his temper and beat up Pastor Shivaji and dragged him out of the church. Then the LEF group people got to the near by busy main road that connects Satenapalli- Madipadu and blocked the traffic which resulted in many vehicles being stranded on this busy road leading to heavy delays to travelers and vehicles. As the agitation was getting worse and the traffic was piling up causing heavy delays for vehicles, Satenapalli rural Circle Inspector Mr. Koteshwara Rao arrived at the scene to get the situation under control.
LEF people continued their argument with CI Mr. Koteshwara Rao and asked for an explanation as to why Pastor Shivaji was manhandled. Peter Paul's group people further expressed their anger and questioned as to why they are asked to leave the church even when the court orders are in favor of LEF. LEF people accused that surveyor Vijayakumar was the reason for this fighting. They claimed that Pastor Vijayakumar was removed from LEF but he continued to break LEF rules and use this church to conduct church services under a new name Calvary Power Ministries. LEF people asked the officers to take immediate action on Vijayakumar and expressed their displeasure with the police for supporting Vijayakumar and his people. Mr. Koteshwara Rao managed to get the situation under control with the agitation after his intervention.

PS: We managed to get Mr. Vijayakumar's side of the story. He said that he spent his own money to build this church and was made to register this property in LEF's name. He said that LEF did not send a single pie to either buy the land or build the prayer hall and that all of the money came from his personal funds. Mr. Vijayakumar is at a loss as to how to get this prayer hall back from LEF.
This is a very typical story of many LEF prayer halls in Andhra. I know this from my own personal experience. My own father did something very similar in his village in Krishna district. After his retirement, my father spent a sizable chunk of his retirement money to buy a plot and build a prayer hall in his village and as directed by Joshua Daniel, he registered this prayer hall to LEF's name. Ironically, Priyanath the goonda from Krishna district prohibited my father from coming for revival meetings conducted in this village a couple of years ago. My father, the die-hard LEF loyalist that he is, shed a few tears but never managed to go and question Priyanath as to why he was not allowed to come for the meetings conducted in his village in the church that he built with his own money. In any case- this "ban" on my father had to be lifted as the people from his village refused to come to church anymore as they all said, "we don't know what this LEF is. All we know is that this is Mr. X's church and he is a good man who has done lot for these village people and if he is not here, we are not going to come any more." At this point, poor Priyanath had no choice but to keep his tail between his legs and retreat from this place. But the point I am making here is that this kind of nonsense is quite common in LEF.

ReplyDeleteWhat an irony on the bookshop board: “Designed for raising happy families and vibrant young people.” In my personal experience with the Daniels and the people in LEF I did not see an environment for raising a normal family or normal young people. Loyalty to LEF was more important than family ties. The leader of one of the centres in Tamil Nadu who officiates a lot of LEF wedding as he has the government authority to do so; refused to attend the wedding of his own daughter to a Christian man from LEF because she did not have “God’s will”. He still remains a respected leader and officiates LEF weddings! Parents especially those who volunteer at LEF after their regular job are always away for meetings and are rarely at home. Bible college students take care of cattle, run a bakery, etc. Boys cannot talk to girls, men cannot talk to women, and families cannot sit together in church. This is the reality of the families and people of LEF.

He has married the cousin of the lady who had a lot of Swag (Villi) .He was nominated to be a Marriage officiant to check mate Mr.Moses Charles.After the death of Late Bro.David Cornelius the only marriage registrar was Bro.Whitson Paul.As Bro.Whitson could not manage travelling to different places to conduct marriages they brought in Bro.Moses Charles .In order to cut him to size they made him a marriage Officiant.
It was a situation where Mr.Knowledge Bright had to choose between fulfilling his daughters wish (marrying an LEF guy of her choice) or to fulfil the sadistic pleasure of the Goonda Family.He chose to stay loyal to the Goonda Family.
When i heared of this i spoke to him and told him that he failed to fulfill his duty towards his daughter .He lost the opportunity to walk his daughter through the aisle.While analyzing the issue in detail one can observe that the Swag Lady ,her respected uncle ,children and the extended family are a highly dysfunctional family.
Whats the use of officiating marriages ,being a respected LEF leader if you cannot be at peace with the family.Shame on LEF who groomed spineless people like Mr.Knowledge Bright.

This could be a long story as we are discussing some matters which took place over 25 years back.
DeleteIn the late 80's JD felt that some evangelists in Taminadu were in their comfort zone and wanted to unseat them.
He Ordered the transfer of Mr.Moses Charles(Salem) to Vijayawada,Mr.J.A.Dasan(Vellore) to Kanpur,Mr.Masilladhas(Ponneri) to Allahabad and Dr.Jesudas (Coimbatore) to Ludhiana or some North Indian City.This happened in 1989.
As JD asked them to move they had no option but to say yes but borrowed time.
Due to his family situation Bro.J.A.Dasan went to Kanpur.
After the death of his wife Bro.Masilladhas went to serve in UP.Allahabad i guess.
Mr.Moses Charles was reluctant to move to Vijayawada as he was aware that not being a Telugu speaking person he would not be acceptable.Also there were a lot of of controversies in Vijayawada.It was a Political Minefield (LEF Vijayawada had lot of Politicians).In the mid 90's JD started checkmating Mr.Moses Charles and in a May Retreat he was given an ultimatum .Mr.Moses Charles left his home center and stayed in Ponneri for a month and then moved to take control of Ponneri School.He then became a Bible College Professor.Sometime in 2010 he quit LEF.Mr.Moses charles was replaced by another cousin of LD and her husband Mr.Knowledge Bright.
Dr.Jesudas's wife the cousin of LD smartly moved her cards with LD and ensured that her family was not unseated from Coimbatore.
While discussing Dr.Jesudas one should not forget that he came to work as a helper doctor in Dr.Samraj's gospel clinic.His fortunes rose after he married the cousin of LD.Dr.Samraj was pushed to a place away from Coimbatore.To this day Dr.Samraj is respected in Coimbatore by Christians of all denominations and non christians.
I read another critical blog post where there were comments about Priyanath who is fondly called as Bro.Priya .Priya must know that several years back Mr.Moses Charles avoided this center fearing politics.Managing a center like VIjayawada is a challenging task.In order to remain glued to Vijayawada he needs to butter John and Lily and he does that with perfection.

I wonder how some of these people live with themselves after they have done what they have done to their own children. These men are just selfish and self-centered people who walked all over their own children to keep their positions secure in LEF. There is nothing "GODLY" about what they did when they drove their own children to be married as orphans. Let them not hoodwink people saying that they chose God over their own children. They chose their own power and position in LEF over their duty towards their own children. It is as simple as that. Let them not sugar coat their selfish move of not fulfilling their duty as parents to walk their daughter to the marriage altar to safeguard their own positions in LEF as doing God's will, seeking kingdom of God above family and other such BS. These are not normal men and women. These people are worse than beasts. To be fair to animals and beasts, it will be insulting to compare these people with animals and beasts as these animals and beasts as programmed by their genes and instincts do all they can to protect their own offspring from predators.

DeleteSuniemi: LEF 'rules' are different for non-Indians. That is why Regina and Johannes see no irony in the Brixton bookshop frontage. JD was cunning enough to know that most non-Indians would not allow him to dictate to them as he did to Indians in India. That the Canadians, most Americans, and most Germans eventually threw out Joshua Daniel is evidence of this, once they realised the extent of his religious fakery. Most in the UK who continue to attend LEF activities do so for their own purposes (cheap holiday, something to do, with food supplied); in fact they usually attend other churches, and once they are away from the LEF ethos, do not allow it to affect their normal lives. The reality is probably that the Brixton centre staff were under the spell of how JD presented himself in their presence, not the JD known to people who post here..... I suspect that at May retreats these foreigners were kept well away from the 'ordinary Indians', who probably treated them with respect as guests in their country, and would not want them to witness anything less than admirable. These non-Indians do not speak Tamil, Telegu, or Hindi. Their accommodation is separate. Every hour of the day is taken up with meetings or prayer sessions. JD instructed people not to talk to each other at retreats (at least in the UK), under the guise of encouraging them to spend all their time praying and reading the Bible (the relaxed, informal fellowship that Jesus enjoyed with his disciples was not on JD's radar). It is easy to see why JD discouraged interaction and conversation, which might result in questions about his own defective 'ministry' and self-glorifying regime. Whilst in the UK most retreat attenders would politely ignore this instruction, the UK 'leaders' would not, and even if foreign visitors were able to converse in English with Indians in May retreats, these foreigners would be anxious to demonstrate to the Indians how devout and obedient they were to JD in such matters (whilst assuming the Indians themselves to be devout and obedient). What opportunity would there have been for these foreigners to see the real state of LEF in India, and the kind of suffering JD's regime was causing to families? Has any truly frank, meaningful, unrestricted conversation ever taken place between ordinary Indians and foreign visitors? We have read from American Gary how JD, and later John Daniel, abused (physically and psychologically) any ordinary folk who dared to question or challenge them, even in the USA, John Daniel even openly praying that 'the Angel of Death' would strike down any who left LEF.

Individuals may have identified problems, but nobody was prepared to admit or state the obvious, for fear of incurring Emperor JD's displeasure and being despised by his other followers and thrown out of his 'country', LEF. And yet everybody knew, underneath, that 'Emperor JD had no clothes'. Nobody was prepared to admit to this fact. Everybody refused to acknowledge it even to themselves. Thank God - and I write this reverently - that WB and Suniemi were prepared to be the 'small child' who unhesitatingly said what everyone else was thinking, 'The emperor is naked!', and started the ball of honesty rolling.
Regina and Johannes Weidenmuller are decent, kind, hospitable people who love the Lord, insofar as the deficient, often erroneous teachings of LEF have allowed them to. In the past the books they have sold have often been sound and helpful; however the poisonous writings and activities of Joshua Daniel have received great prominence in their endavours, and recruitment to LEF is inherent in what they do in Brixton. Without realising it they are putting people in spiritual danger. Jesus himself warned that 'a little leaven leavens the whole lump'. We must pray that the Lord enlightens them in the end.
LEF rules are different also if you have money or do the dirty job for them. There are many Indians come in this catogory

The shop is run by a charity and attached to a local church. It can’t afford any significant rent rises and Regina will be looking for somewhere else nearby to rent, which, given the prices some neighboring businesses are paying, is going to prove very difficult
Is the above statement correct. The charity recorded profits over UK pounds 200000, so rent or more rent should not be a problem. let Regina think about such facts.
Regina says a friend bought a house 10 years ago up on Brixton Hill, about a mile away from the tube station, for around £100,000. It’s now worth £1,500,000.
Who is this friend, JD and company isn't it, While Regina who runs a rental shop finds it difficult to pay an increase in rent, that friend neither him nor his family members who ever worked bought a property for 100000 pounds. What was the source of that money?
Such a large property can be donated to run a bookstall by her family friend isn't it.

DeleteI think that Regina's declining to give more details was simply a security precaution. The shop is in what is currently quite a dangerous area.
The house bought by 'a friend' is probably not the bungalow bought by JD. The LEF bungalow is not on Brixton Hill, but at 77 Telford Avenue, Streatham, which is further away. However property prices have rocketed throughout that whole area, so the bungalow is still worth a lot of money. It is not clear who the legal owners are, or who would be the beneficiary if it were to be sold. However it could notionally be sold to finance another bookshop and meeting room. Nobody lives in it. It is just used for Saturday meetings, for storage, and for Daniel family members if they are in London. Joshua Daniel had his own bedroom there (the only bedroom which was not used for storage) which no-one else was supposed to use, so when Regina and Johannes Weidenmuller and their children were temporarily homeless (between homes) I believe they slept on the floor. I cannot say for sure whether this was because Joshua Daniel did not want them to use the bedroom, or whether it was because of their own misplaced sense of 'reverence' towards him and Lily. I believe one of the LEF wives used to cook special food for the Daniels and take it to the bungalow. I do not think they ever ate with other LEF people when in the UK, not even at retreats. They never made themselves available during meals etc. (genuine preachers called by God - and their wives - are eager to have informal Christian fellowship with those whom they serve, it must be said).
The Weidenmullers are nice people, but completely taken in by the Daniels. Like many Indians, they have given their adult lives into LEF servitude, dictated by Joshua Daniel. Johannes, at least, is completely taken in by the Daniels, and even 'worshipped' Joshua in a sense, though he would not see it as such. This is clear from the memorial service video, where Johannes delivered fulsome praise of his 'mentor', Joshua, from the platform, and could hardly restrain his tears. When questioned some time ago about why he found it necessary to consult with Joshua Daniel (thousands of miles away!) about every minor detail of what went on in Brixton, and get his permission, Johannes replied, 'Well, it's his (Joshua Daniel's) fellowship'. Not God's fellowship, but Joshua Daniel's fellowship! That, I think, speaks volumes.....
It is sad to see normally intelligent, decent, people duped for decades like this. As a visitor to Brixton once remarked, 'Johannes thinks he is serving God, but God is not interested in all these obsessive demonstrations of praying and fasting and 'witnessing' and running around in obedience to Joshua Daniel'. Johannes, like many LEF people, seemed to think that normal, relaxed interaction with people was in some way wrong, that if one was not bombarding them with Scripture or involving them in 'rounds of prayer', one was wasting time. He never seemed comfortable in company with others unless he was 'preaching' or 'praying'. Sad to see how a decent man's God-given personality can be suffocated by cultish leaders like Joshua Daniel, so that he is afraid to make time simply for being himself with Christian friends, and giving free reign to natural human attributes such as humour, without apparently feeling guilty.
Thanks for providing the translation of the article about the disturbance at the LEF meeting place. It would be good if those who provided the money and the labour to build these places could obtain legal ownership of them. Would it be possible to interest the wider Indian media in these kinds of stories? Surely some newspaper or TV channel would be interested in the way that this ex-patriate Daniel tribe, now thoroughly Americanised, is increasingly attempting to profit from the money and labour invested by Indians in India who have largely been impoverished by the Daniel dictate to give everything to LEF?
ReplyDeleteIt would be very easy to supply the press with pics of John Daniel's home and general life-style, compared with pics of the way some of the robbed Indian LEF followers now have to live. Betty Daniel and Mr. Betty Daniel (a.k.a. Chuck Lambdin) seem to eat out at restaurants almost every day. Looks as if Betty's 'ministry' of 'healing' kitchen appliances has died a death - or is she 'possessed' by a Gourmand Spirit from which she is unable to 'deliver' herself? Cooking oil not working any more, Betty? Try a different brand? Anyway, whilst Betty may currently not be profiting from LEF tithes, offerings, and real estate (although she has been battling to try to re-instate herself as heir to her father's assets), surely pics of these two feeding their faces in South Bend, Florida, and wherever else they satisfy their gourmand inclinations, might also be of interest, and especially to the Telegu TV people who rather naively broadcast Betty's trumpetings about her 'godly' father (the late, but not lamented by anyone with integrity, Joshua Daniel), and tearful pleas for 'holiness' in her audience. Maybe Indian folk would be less inclined to support Betty's itinerant Indian 'ministry' if they could see her demolishing plates of oysters in Florida, or Mexican meals in Michigan.
Seriously, though, even if in the end you cannot acquire back the prayer halls etc. that you built, it is better to leave them behind and sever all connections with LEF and its dupes and goondas. God knows your hearts.
