Dear readers,
We have made a relentless effort to make you aware of the rot in LEF. We have faced many threats and some people have gone as far as to organize themselves into "prayer groups" to influence "GOD" to send His wrath on us for touching the "Lord's anointed." For records, none of us who are writing on this blog experienced God's wrath but we see that God is blessing our efforts to make some people realize that LEF is a bottomless pit and move out from it to save their own souls.
A lot of LEF preachers used and are using their pulpits to make announcements to tell people not to go and read what is posted on the blog. The baby grand child of Daniel family, Caleb Daniel topped the list. Some time soon LEF preachers may have the "blog issue" added to their list of prayer burdens that they share before starting a "prayer session." The announcement may go something like - pray for up coming Thanksgiving retreat in US, Christmas Carol services, student retreat, Stuartpuram retreat...also, don't forget to pray about the bloggers so that they may be controlled by the power of the cross and shed blood of Jesus Christ. Please pray that the these bloggers realize that "no weapon formed against God's anointed aka Daniel family will prosper." Little did these LEF fools realize that a lot of people came to know about the blog not from friends and relatives but from LEF preachers. We would be amiss if we do not thank Betty for her generous advertising. Here is the latest audience stat to the blog.
We just hope that the blog helped people to know what kind of rot has been piling up in LEF for years and decide their further course of action. It is hard to teach the old generation of LEF who have spent most of their lives in LEF communities.The world outside is a stranger to them and most of them are afraid to lose the "false sense of security" they feel in LEF. Most of these older people ridiculed people of other churches and now their pride won't allow them to accept that more wickedness is found in LEF than what is found in mainstream churches. Most of the older generation LEF people are in the last leg of their earthly journeys and hence they have resigned themselves to their plight. The realization that they have been living a lie their entire lives is taking its toll on many LEF loyalists. As much as we want to help them come out, we know that it is not something we can achieve with the limited resources we have at our disposal.
It is the young people whom we are concerned about who have their entire lives ahead of them. We just hope that another generation of young people are not hoodwinked by the old bandicoots in LEF. Fortunately we are able to connect with many many young people through this channel. The reach that we have through social media helped us to reach places and people which was unthinkable just 5 years ago.

We would like to thank those who contribute to the blog and those who have acted in good conscience to act appropriately based on the facts presented on the blog. Our intent is not to scandalize any innocent person. We are very careful to verify all the facts before posting them. We apologize if there were any comments on the blog that seemed unfair to any one individual who really has nothing to do with the rot in LEF. We just hope that what we brought out in this blog presented each person with enough information to carefully analyze and determine the credibility of LEF and its preaching to decide if they need to severe their ties with LEF if that deems fit. Dear Betty and all other LEF church leaders.
In LEF churches, if a person involved in ministry does even a small lie/mistake, he/she will be kept aside and will not be used in the ministry.
It will be treated as sin to get divorce because, you haven't done God's will or seek it before getting married, that's why you come to divorce, our preachers preached like this.
It is sin to have even wear shoe/sandals costing more than 1000/- by any one who is in the ministry.
It is also taught that those persons whose children are not saved or still in sin not fit to be on the pulpit.
with that little background, please enlighten me about the following doubts:
1. You said clearly that gunalan etc are the friends of the IC who done great damage to the LEF. Why gunalan, Daniel mani etc are still in their positions in the church
2. Do you have cordial relations with your brother and mother.
3. Does all of your siblings have cordial relations with each other and your mother and late father.
4. there was a letter circulated in all the centers about you. Similarly any letter circulated about John Branch's affair?
5. Dear Leaders: are you maintaining transparency in telling all the facts about the leaders life as example to warn believers'?
6 Leaders: Have you condemned the attitude of gunalan etc at Hq and even warn john Daniel? Or simply pampering them for your position and status?
7 Do you agree to have transparency about showing the accounts to the congregation or all the elders atleast?
8 If your children well settled then you lead a luxury life then what about those preachers who don't have children like that? Do you agree that they should be given a decent accommodation and support for medical and education?.

Thank you blogger for exposing the irregularities in LEF.Most LEF preachers and leaders are happy that we have a blog to question the wicked family who have destroyed the lives of people by their ruthlessness,arrogance and wickedness.The younger generation will show them the door.I am looking forward to the day when people will openly rebuke these goondas.

So true. One of the pulpit family gossip 24/7. Abuse the poor bribe others to lie for them to suppress the other , smooth talkers , play games using all sides escape when caught in corruption by bribing the winning side., stab from behind the very people they used as stepping stone. Act as if big in fellowship but never follow anything they preach. Even use the pulpit pictures to look for opportunities outside Lef. Shamlessly say that everybody in LEF are like them when caught in corruption even by Hindus. It looks like according to yheir words all pulpit families are no families some have multiple relationships. And still think they are going to heaven because of their LEF ticket. There are some worst than IC . By their smooth talk, money and manipulation control many lives for their corruption.
They fit to. Psalm 55:21 His talk is smooth as butter, yet war is in his heart; his words are more soothing than oil, yet they are drawn swords. They are the Anti Christs in LEF
They think. Questioning them is curse. But bible says. dont even eat with such people get rid off them.

Checking the life of pulpit people with what bible says is not only biblical it is noble.
Acts 17:11 Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.
So Whistleblower is helping people to understand what God want them to understand. Only the language used need to stay withing what God allows You dont want to stoop to the level of the wicked people on the pulpit

ReplyDeleteWe were born in fellowship and attending regularly..past few months we are following whistle blowers like checking our gmail kr facebook ..because most of it is actually true..some dont have voice to raise..anyways we are happy God is using you..i know almost whole youngsters of fellowship are following you and they are on their gaurd..praying for you..keep going...

ReplyDeleteWhistleblowers are providing the antidote to the LEF poison, and, unlike being a follower of LEF and the Daniels, its free of charge and beneficial!
Cleaning the temple of God is not the responsibility or duty of only the whistleblowers.Each of you who have been part of LEF must step in and become whistleblowers in your centre .You must be bold to ask questions and clarify issues with your evangelists.

DeleteYou are right in saying that the responsibility for stopping the LEF rot belongs to everyone who ever had a part in it. However the rot was allowed to grow because LEF people were never taught how to govern local churches in a biblical manner. They were made to delegate all their power as a congregation to people they had never themselves approved or appointed, N. Daniel, Joshua Daniel, and their corrupt tribe being the unelected instigators of such an unbiblical practice.
Therefore, although it would be good to make the present so-called leadership accountable in every centre, no amount of pasting over will make existing centres into real churches. People would be advised either to look for other, properly-governed churches, or physically to take over the centre buildings, study (together as groups) what a New Testament church should be like, and then start to carry this out in practice.
I doubt that the Daniels and their henchmen could do much to stop centres physically being taken over. After all, your tithes and offerings paid for the centres, and there is power in numbers. The Daniels would have to prove to the authorities that the premises were purchased by, and belong to, them, or some other agency, if they wanted to stop you legally. As it is, they seem to have taken a great deal of trouble to conceal the paperwork connected with this from those who paid, and who should therefore have free access to it. Who are the members of any boards or other committees which dictate these matters? No-one seems sure, but it appears that none were elected to, or ratified in, these posts by the members of the congregations who should have been the first to be consulted.
Surely everybody would like to see the Daniels either relinquish their stranglehold on LEF and its material assetss, or be made to prove their right to ownership and dominance? It is perfectly clear that Betty Daniel regards LEF as the outright property and 'kingdom' of her family. Why else would she be running round asking different people that she thinks are influential how she can regain what she considers as her 'birthright'? Haven't you noticed how her embarrassing, crocodile tear-filled Telegu TV broadcasts are becoming more and more superimposed with notices saying 'daughter of Joshua Daniel', thus publicly and naively trying to establish her 'claim' to anything she thinks should come her way from the assumed inheritance - in addition to the requests for money for herself (a.k.a 'ministry') which appear on the screen at the end.
If Betty (eldest child, as she keeps emphasising) sees herself as a disinherited 'heir', then it is certain that John and Lydia have been inculcated with similar ambition, and probably the five grand-daughters too (Joseph and James seem to have withdrawn from this battle for thrones, commendably).
There are surely enough able men of faith in local LEF congregations to be able to meet together separately and discuss strategies for ejecting Daniels and Danielites, taking over premises, and prayerfully starting genuinely biblical churches in them?
Part 1:
DeleteNot only is the Board of a non-profit responsible for the
poor decisions of the organization, but they
can take positive action. That's what happened when the Canadian LEF broke up. Let me explain.
After the US August retreat in Ohio in 1996, a family that had been
wholly involved and committed to the LEF for over ten years was so fed
up that they decided to leave.
Any LEFer knows that people who leave are considered backsliders
and that they should be shunned. "Don't even talk to them because
they will polute you." The Canadians decided that those who
had been with the group for many years should meet to
discuss the situation; seeing a devout family leave was not to be dismissed
with the back of one's hand. Eventually, a group of four couples
decided to write a letter to JD to initiate change in the LEF
(at least for Canada). JD called for a meeting. He came with John,
Lily, and Lawrence Williams (a former Bible college student
who was, and I think still is, a devoted Daniel lackey). The meeting
was held in a hotel conference room partway between Toronto and Detroit.
However, during the beginning of the meeting, JD preached at the couples,
telling them that they were wrong, rebelious, etc. Of course
he cloaked all of this with some New Testament passages. When
someone asked if they could now have some discussion together, JD
was emphatic that the "Word of God" had been given, and there
was nothing more to say (like all spiritual abusers, the
Daniels know how to shut down communication by hiding behind
the Bible). This brother pressed further, and then many
questions, accusations, etc. erupted from all quarters. JD looked
rather spent after this long meeting. He was not used to being told
that he had made mistakes.
In the following days, the Daniels were ferocious, and came to
preach in the Canadian meetings (both in Waterloo and Toronto).
They soon told Chris Perumalla (the Canadian leader) that
he was being relieved of fellowship duties
and that he should give the keys to the prayer hall to
a devoted Danielite. Now this is where things took a surprising turn.
Chris realized that since he was on the board,
leaving the organization could be problematic, so he contacted
the lawyer who helped set up LEF Southwestern Ontario with the
Canadian government. By the way, this lawyer was a Christian whose
work specialized in working with Christian organizations. JD
had met this lawyer and they seemed to have gotten along well.
Chris P. was surprised at what he learned: the five board members
(Chris P., Doug McLachlin, Gus Wright, Lawrence Williams and
Joshua Daniel) had a legal responsibility for the running of the
organization and a feduciary responsibility for the centre. This meant that
simply leaving the LEF his name as a trustee
would be a personally foolish move.
Part 2:
DeleteA decision for the organization can be made by a majority of the board.
At that time, three of the five board members (Chris, Doug and Gus)
decided to exercise their legal rights as a majority of the board.
The Daniels were contacted and told the keys would not be returned.
The Daniels knew that they didn't have a leg to stand on. The Daniels
contacted two families to stop going to the centre and just meet
among themselves, but everyone else attended the now-independent
services. Moreover, a meeting with the
lawyer was called so that the board could jointly be told what
their obligations were. JD decided not to come (no reason was offered)
but Joseph Daniel was sent in his place. One of the "mistakes"
that arose was that, as a board member, it was illegal for
Joshua Daniel to be receiving monthly "radio speaker honorariums".
Of course this was stopped immediately. The Canadians decided to
get rid of all the LEF literature (they had hundreds of LEF books).
The only other contact with the Daniels after this point was
to offer them to come get their literature. James and Joseph
drove several hours to pick it up (and complained too).
So in summary, it is possible to stand up against these abusers
of authority. Of course they were very angry. The Canadians
realized that they could stand together and that the big
words of the Daniel family could not hurt them. This is when
some of John Daniel's famous phrases were uttered, such as
calling on the Angel of Death to visit the Canadians, etc.
But let it be clear, nothing bad happened to the Canadians.
They were also able to contact some of the few scattered LEFers
in the US about what was going on and some of these people also left the LEF. It was sad to see some LEFers in the US and Canada still
hanging on, but most of them have now left.
So what actions can I suggest to LEFers in other countries,
especially India? As a non-Indian, it's hard for me to be specific
about the Indian context, but you absolutely do not have to bow
to the Daniels. They are NOT God's annointed, you will NOT
be cursed for having meaningful fellowship and communication
with your brothers and sisters who also feel abused by the LEF.
Talk with each other. Understand what each other
is feeling and experiencing. In this way, you will see that there
are those who long to follow God in the LEF who also suffer.
Then jointly, you can at least stand up against oppression.
It can start with a few, but remember, a little one shall
become a thousand.

DeleteThank you for the details about the Canadian LEF breakup and encouraging us to stand up against the Daniels. Many years ago a close associate of Joshua Daniel tried to bring change. He contacted board members and other senior people. I doubt anybody responded positively to that. When the IC scandal broke out, it appears that James Daniel called board members for a meeting. After the death of Joshua Daniel there were rumours of revolt against the leadership. Sadly nothing useful seems to have come out of any of these efforts.

So it difficult to expect Indian LEF Christians who have been conditioned both by society and LEF to be docile and subservient to revolt. People who accept the playback of a dead man’s messages regularly in their meeting and in the LEF TV broadcast are not going to revolt easily. Most (me included) don’t know who the board members are. Thankfully a few are willing to challenge the LEF publicly. My site aims to make people Understand the Truth biblically and I hope that change will happen when people’s eyes are open. This site (LEF Whistleblower) of course takes a very direct approach. I hope that people eyes will be opened.
Betty Daniel (Liz Van Camp) writes viciously on Facebook against the whistleblower and against her uncle and cousin who have stopped going to LEF. This corroborates your observation that people who leave or try to leave LEF are demonised by the Daniels & LEF. If you have not been blocked (she blocks those who disagree with her) you can read her absurd posts.

Suniemi: Thanks for your 'Understanding the Truth' site. It is very informative and I hope you will continue with it. Do you know anything about an Indian man who seems to specialise in exposing cultish groups in India? He did once say that in his next month's publication he was going to write in more detail about LEF, having done a short piece, but it never happened. I can't remember his name (preceded by the very common 'Dr.' title, I think).
DeleteThe person who exposes irregularities in Christendom is Dr.Pushparaj who runs a tamil magazine called Jamakaran (www.jamakaran.com).He said that he would write in detail about LEF problems but did not do so as he feels that exposure to a wider audience will shake the roots of LEF and make it crumble like the walls of Jericho.

DeleteIf Dr.Pushparaj writes something in his magazine it becomes the talk of the town.He doesn't sling mud but writes to people asking for clarifications and if there is no satisfactory answer,publishes a report exposing the dubious acts in the organization/Christian Icons.I think he is waiting for some time to get credible information on irregularities.Soon he would realise that it is a Phoney Organization and will be forced to write about LEF.
DeleteDr.Pushparaj can visit LEF Centre in Salem which is about 3 miles from his home and see the state of the much respected Dr.Whitson Paul and the sister of JD ,Mrs Kamala Paul .They have attenders to help them but are victims of revenge and hate .
