A very happy festive season to all our readers. Please take time off to spend time with your family and friends. Don't forget that your spouse and your children will be the ones who will stick around with you longer than anybody else during your earthly journey. During this festive season, please look out for those individuals and families whose families are shattered because of LEF. There may be a lonely spouse whose wife/husband my have been hijacked by LEF and this person may be shedding bitter tears out of sheer helplessness. There may be parents who lost their children to LEF. There may be children who lost their parents to LEF. Please be kind and mindful of individuals who are hurting because of harm done to them and their families by Lily Daniel and her stooges and LEF at large. No philosophy and dogma can justify why a family cannot sit around a table and enjoy a happy meal on what is supposed to be a day to celebrate the birth of a savior. If LEF has done this to you or to any family you know, then please re-evaluate your belief system before it is too late. All amends can be made only when there is breath in your nostrils. The unsaid words and unmended relationships are the perfect recipe for a miserable death. As many comments on this blog indicate, Joshua Daniel seems to have had such a death. Let not LEF and its misguided philosophies drive you to a point of no return just like it did to Joshua Daniel. The choices you make today decide your eternal destiny. What we are today is the sum of all the choices we made. All of us are one choice away from eternal bliss or eternal misery at every juncture of our lives. It is the wise and prudent who chose with eternity in mind. Chose well!!!

DeleteI think you must be reading a different Bible from the one I have been reading for so many years. In my Bible, truth is what is pre-eminent. Jesus described himself as 'the truth'. Jesus's love can only be expressed by means of truth. Love without truth is hypocrisy or mere sentiment.
Therefore those who do not speak or preach biblical truth, and who do not show biblical care towards those of whom they claim to be pastors or shepherds, do immense harm to the flock. The Daniels are such people, and by association LEF itself. Do you remember when Jesus warned his followers that 'a little leaven leavens the whole lump'?
The Daniels and their accomplices are not 'our neighbours' in the sense that you are trying to pretend. They are dangerous hirelings, and Jesus himself spoke very harshly in warning against such people.
Should we obey Jesus's and the apostles' instructions about how to deal with hirelings, or should we pay attention to your conflicting advice, delivered by means of a couple of random, out-of-context Bible verses?
Is it more important to deliver abused, suffering LEF people from the control of hirelings, or to sit back and pat ourselves on the back because we have done nothing to help them, but done nothing 'lovingly'?

I had personally written to him before starting this blog to do the right thing with a family that LEF has mercilessly driven out of a center. Anil: the identities of the Whistleblowers have never been a state secret. You seem to be very proud of yourself for thinking that you have identified one of them. This is not a game. It is a very serious matter. If you did not like the facts that you have read about here, which have been supplied by many people from different countries and backgrounds, all with considerable experience of LEF, then you should have offered evidence to prove that they are untrue, not embarked on silly guessing games.

Also there is no sermon without mention of joe daniel in 99% centeres.
Even in CSI and RC churches you can sense reverence to god and calmness.
I am a person whose life was torn to pieces only because of LEF's policies. Lef did not fix it and cannot fix it and can never fix it.

ReplyDeleteMany of you have already supplied evidence, privately, about the continuing misdeeds of members of the Daniel family and their henchmen. Please continue to do so. The file against them has become enormous. The scandal of John Branch's ongoing adultery, whilst he was still being encouraged by the Daniels to preach at May retreats and young people's meetings, was but one abuse made known via a private communication which was backed by concrete evidence to confirm it.
God has brought about the dethroning of other such religious groups and hypocrites, people who have set themselves and others up in in His name, but have acted in contradiction to His revealed Word, ultimately in the interests of their own power and personal gain. However He usually does this through the agency of men. Take no notice of those who tell you that you should merely 'pray about' the LEF abuses without acting. Prayer is necessary, but advocating passive acceptance is the weapon that the Daniels have been wielding against you quite calculatedly for decades in order to stop you taking any firm action which might bring an end to their income and topple them from power.
Helping to bring an end to decades of Daniel abuse, and the apostate preaching that allows it, is not a sinful act of revenge, but an act of obedience in relation to Jesus's and the apostles' condemnation of hirelings. Martin Luther was not afraid to post his 39 theses publicly on the door of a significant church when the Roman Catholic hierachy was making millions from imposing its practice of selling 'indulgences' (false tickets to heaven!) to ignorant people from whom it had withheld free, personal access to the Bible. The Daniels have not been able to withhold access to the Bible from you, but they have corrupted the contents of God's Word in order to browbeat and control you.
Whistleblowers have had the courage to take firm action. You have the opportunity to assist them. You can contact them privately if you wish. Please do so if you have useful information which can be confirmed, and which will help to bring an end to the poisonous Daniel regime and its spiritually dangerous, self-serving 'empire', the Laymen's Evangelical Fellowship.
Clearly the Whistleblower are not going to abandon their efforts to do this, and neither should you.

ReplyDeleteIn an effort to stop the division among the Corinthians over what minister they should follow, Paul had discredited putting faith in the people that God used to deliver the message. They were only the “delivery boys.” That might lead some to criticize Paul, saying he was trying to sidestep responsibility. He dealt with that issue here.
Ministers are responsible to God as stewards. Stewards are not the master, and they do not get the glory for carrying out the instructions of the master. But they are responsible, and they do have to give account of their actions. Likewise, ministers must be faithful and have to give account, but to whom?
In 1 Corinthians 4:3 Paul made it very clear that the Corinthians were not his judge. He didn’t even judge his own self (1 Corinthians 4:3). 1 Corinthians 4:4 says that God was Paul’s judge.
Paul was establishing the rules of accountability for ministers. They are not accountable to the people they minister to. They have to answer directly to God.
Most people can’t understand this. They think that surely the body of believers must have some role to play in the correction of wayward ministers, and they do, indirectly. However, God has not given the authority to any group or individual member of a church to go and correct the pastor.
Ministers should voluntarily surround themselves with peers to whom they submit and to whom they give the authority to speak words of correction into their lives. Some denominations accomplish this by having a bishop, superintendent, or other spiritual leadership that exercises authority over ministers who are licensed with them. This denominational system as it exists today, however, goes far beyond voluntary intervention and influence. Most churches and denominations are set up where they can fire the minister.
No one has absolute authority over a minister except God. Therefore, scripturally, you can’t kick a minister out of a church or denomination. That’s what Paul was saying here. What these Corinthians thought of him didn’t affect him. God was his judge.
That might lead some people to fear that we, as those who are being ministered to, have no recourse in dealing with ministers. That’s not so. We do have a very effective method of reproving ministers. It’s just a different method than what most people employ.
In Revelation 2:5, the Lord spoke to the pastor at Ephesus and told him to repent or He would come and remove the body of believers out from under him (Revelation 1:20 with Revelation 2:5). The recourse that individual members of the body of Christ have against ministers who are in error is to leave or quit listening to those ministers. This is very effective.
Pastors who lose all their members lose all their authority. They are reduced to nothing. Anyone who has had even a casual knowledge of ministers and how they think will know that most ministers, especially carnal ones who are causing trouble, are very moved by how people respond to them. An exodus of members will get their attention.
This, of course, is not encouraging church splits and the like. The first thing that should always be done is to try and reconcile any differences (Matthew 18:17). It may not be the minister who has the problem or there may just be a misunderstanding. Every attempt to walk in unity should be attempted, but if it comes to a situation where a minister is persistent in gross error, just leave.
This could be illustrated through an employer/employee relationship. Employees do not have the authority to rebuke or fire an employer. A good employer will have some system to allow employees to air grievances, but it really is voluntary. If the boss refuses to change, the only real course of action for the employees is to leave. Likewise, church members who feel that their differences with the pastor are irreconcilable should leave.
It is really a lack of faith to think that God cannot deal with a disobedient minister without us helping out. The Lord can bring anyone to his or her knees (Daniel 4).
John, I should congratulate you for the scholarly attempt of telling LEF people to leave the Daniels alone in what seems to be in a very sophisticated way. You must've done quite a bit of digging up from the Bible to make your point sound very Godly and Biblical. What the guy Anil and some other nincompoops said in a very boorish way is what you are trying to say with much more sophistication by using some high sounding logic and generous references from Bible. So, you are saying it is nobody's job to correct wayward ministers, in this case Daniels. Did we hear that right? In the same lines of your earlier comment, could you consider doing the following? John, can you kindly enlighten us on who exactly is a minister? How does someone exactly get to the status of a minister? What are the qualificatios? Are there any prerequisites? Is there any prescribed method of appointing someone as a minister? Just like you have used several references from the Bible as to what to do with a wayward minister, could you also please give Bible references to expound on how one becomes a minister? That way we can go to the bottom of things if the LEF leaders and appointees can even be called ministers. If their appointment of becoming a minister was done by fraudulent means, then all of the methods you have suggested as to how to deal with a wayward minister will become null and void. Also, how to tell apart a biblical minister from a fraudulent self appointed minister? What are the recourses Bible provides to deal with fraudulent ministers? Paul was an apostle, not an appointed church elder (as a pastor is). He was the last of the apostles. No more apostles came after Paul.
If you read the pastoral and other epistles more carefully, you will see that subsequent men who became church leaders (who were, and are, appointed with the approval of the church to whom they were called to minister) were not invulnerable; neither were they answerable 'only to God'. They were answerable ultimately to God, especially in respect of the manner in which they shepherded the local body of Christ whom they were called to nurture, but they were also answerable to their church memberships, those 'sheep' who had called them into the ministry of preaching and teaching in the first place.
You cannot invent a whole doctrine out of a single passage of Scripture.
The only point about which I would agree with you is that, in practical terms, LEF victims should indeed cease giving LEF and the Daniels money, or attending its meetings, or supporting it in any way.
The only reason why LEF victims are unable to oust their corrupt leaders is because LEF has never been a properly ordered church with a biblical constitution. If it were, the leadership would be as subject as any other church member to church discipline, including removal from leadership positions, or even from the fellowship itself, if necessary.
Given that the Daniels cannot be disciplined in the biblical way, because LEF is not a biblical church, and they are not biblically appointed leaders, it is entirely necessary that they be publicly exposed in the way that they are being. Since they are unrepentant about the abuses, including financial abuses, which they have perpetrated, it is entirely proper that they be brought to the attention of the secular authorities.
Has anyone considered that if the Daniels were not to be subject to public exposure and condemnation, they would quite easily be able to start up another 'ministry scam' elsewhere under a different title, even if LEF collapses?
I was thinking the LEF goers as " oh Poor sheep, following the butcher" No no no , these are not sheep, innocent and pure and transparent; these LEF goers are none but donkeys.. docile and ignorant and useless mass. They want to close their eyes and drink milk like the little cats in the corner of the room thinking that nobody sees them. so stupid and docile like the donkeys. I never told him to be so, I told him to follow Jesus, and I taught him to live like a family with others in the church, loving and attending the needs of others. Stop taking money under false pretences from your Indian compatriots who have not had your material advantages (we cannot say 'spiritual advantages', since growing up as a Daniel under the tutelage of your parents has been much more of a spiritual disadvantage for you). Get a job!
Stop trying to preach. You have no gift. You do not understand basic Christian theology, and certainly not ecclesiology. You have a dubious background of which you have not yet repented. You have not been called to preach, either by God, or by mature Christian church elders, or by any biblical means. Your parents have misled you, but you are grown up now and you should be able to resist your mother's pressure on you to occupy the pulpit.
Let us see how many decades it will take John Daniel to follow our advice on these matters.
'God' and not 'Goad' is a start though. 'Lord' and not 'Lard' may follow....

His referring to God as GOAD and Job as Joab and John as Joan are all his ways of customizing his "preaching" to the Indian and other colored crowd. For instance, in his Guyana "preaching" it is GOAD but then the following Sunday while he is "preaching" in Detroit it is GOD. That is a lot to keep up with. This poor guy has to focus his entire attention on saying GOAD in India and elsewhere GOD in USA. No wonder he has no bandwidth left to focus on giving the right information while "preaching." Things like saying Noah sat at Jesus' feet and shepherds, Joseph and Mary followed the star from the east are results of having a huge confusion in the mind as he is using his brain power to switch between God and Goad. What a fool this supposedly grown up man is making of himself. I wonder what his daughters think of this man's struggle with God and Goad. This man John Daniel seems to spending way too much energy to change his tone, facial expressions and pronunciation to preach in India. While preaching in Detroit, he keeps mumbling for the most part as if he is scared of people hearing him clearly. He has eyes closed for the most part and this may be a way of avoiding to see the reality that there are more empty pews in his personal church than occupied pews. His "preaching" style seems to be some kind of tip-toeing around people in the fear that he might step on people's toes while he is US. Then when he is preaching in India, he wants to show off his arrogance. So chest out, eyes open and a quirky look on the face are all aimed at making people feel inferior and small. It seems to be his intent to show himself as superior but all this John Daniel manages to do is project himself like a jerk whom nobody can take seriously. That's exactly what Joshua Daniel his dad did...he acted and preached like a big JERK. The only difference is that Joshua Daniel had a certain class to present himself as a genuinely arrogant jerk and John Daniel misses that class and comes out more as buffoon than an arrogant jerk.

If so, the spark of anticipation I felt yesterday on hearing John Daniel say 'God' instead of 'Goad' in his 'Novi Cathedral' Sunday morning family gathering, I mean 'service', is being replaced by a kind of creeping despair. However 'Job' really is pronounced 'Joab' (and not 'Job' to rhyme with 'fob') so can I still dare to hope a little?
Seriously, though (and this certainly is serious), how could so many Indian LEF people (and a handful of expatriate Germans, and two aging Australians, and one American adulterer) give a cunning trickster like Joshua Daniel and an ignorant poser like John Daniel so much credence that they commit their time and energies to fostering these men's dubious utterences, and in the case of the Indians, commit a large part of their incomes and possessions to them too?
Correction: the aging Australians and the American adulterer are in fact beneficiaries of this poisonous LEF organisation, so that explains them. Hankering after and experiencing power over an unaccustomed crowd of captive hearers can have all sorts of nasty effects on a man, as in the case of the adulterer, John Branch. 'Practise what you preach' is an old adage which seems to have escaped the notice of most LEF retreat preachers.
As regards the ex-patriate Germans, the jury's still out. Can they help us to understand their decades of unquestioning servitude to the Daniel family business?
Are they really as naive as people claim? Surely not.......
Anyway, coming back to the Novi Cathedral activities, can anyone enlighten us as to the source of the frightful, clattering piano playing accompanying John Daniel's raucous, and apparently solo, hymn-singing which punctuates these occasions? Is it a machine, or has someone in the Daniel family been taking lessons from Auntie Betty in the copious use of random and redundant arpeggios?
Setting irony aside, STOP GIVING YOUR TRUST, TIME AND MONEY TO CLOWNS AND CONFIDENCE TRICKSTERS.
The fact is that 'God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life'.
No LEF, Daniels, or retreats needed........
