How does one become a preacher in LEF? Is he/she required to have any kind of qualifications or credentials? When John Daniel walks up on the stage with his big Bible in hand to preach about it and from it, is it too much expect that he gets his facts right? At least facts which can be verified...Not sure if they still have what used to be called as Children's Retreats in LEF and at the end of each day they would have Bible quizzes by age.

Will Noah be the correct answer for this factual question?
There are some fools who are trying to defend John Daniel's stupidity who started his sermon in Guyana Retreat November 19th saying that Noah sat at Jesus' feet. Given that John Daniel is the main preacher in all LEF's big conventions, shouldn't this grown man have the diligence to have the facts right about whom he is preaching?
Those of you who have an access to computer, please do yourselves a favor and listen to some of these messages that are "archived." What right do some of you have to drag new people to LEF centres only to be fed husk by these ignominious preachers? preachers who cannot get their facts right; preachers who cannot keep up with their own marriage vows; preachers who use LEF stages to promote hate with their disgusted facial expressions; preachers who use LEF stages to show off to people the greatness of their ancestry. As painful as it was to listen to John Daniel's ramblings, we listened to his "sermon" to see if there was any sense of remorse or guilt with the latest exposure of John Branch's moral failures. There was no sign of regret or shame but just plain arrogance to show off to people that John Daniel and his great family are all part of some "royal lineage." It was more than obvious that John Daniel is as foolishly arrogant as the vain emperor who while believing that he wore the most splendid and magical clothes was in fact naked. That don in Hyderabad Gnanakalanjiam and his wife had the audacity and cheekiness to convey to your mom that LEF need not pay for the hospital expenses of Mr.Prasanna Kumar as his younger son's employer's insurance will pay for it. John Daniel, did your employer or any of your brothers' employers pay for your dad's health related expenses for over 25 years?
John Daniel, you of all people have the nerve to talk about the workman being worthy of wages after nonchalantly exploiting the hard work of hundreds of people who have served your family day in and day out while burning themselves.

ReplyDeleteOne puzzling aspect of John Daniel's 'Guyana Noah' sermon (for want of a more accurate definition) is why he thinks calling a workman back to insist that the workman takes his money when John Daniel wants him to is so praiseworthy (every lame anecdote John Daniel relates is naively designed to demonstrate how praiseworthy John Daniel and his family members are).

Or he could have posted a cheque, or contacted the workman by 'phone or other means to request the workman's bank details so that John Daniel could pay in the amount owed to him directly. As it is, John Daniel made the (probably tired or busy workman) come all the way back to John Daniel's house just so that John Daniel could concoct another anecdote in which John Daniel's 'pure' ( but in fact twisted) conscience is the most important feature. After all, it's not as if John Daniel has a job to keep him occupied any more. Unlike the workman, John Daniel has time on his hands. Thinking about it, couldn't John Daniel learn how to do such work himself? Maybe his sister Betty could give him a few lessons in supernaturally 'healing' refrigerators and other items.

DeleteHistorically and Biblically a local congregation is self-supporting and self-governing. All its tithes and offerings should be administered by its local leadership in consultation with its local membership. Most of this income should be used for the needs of the local group (supporting the local pastor, maintaining any local premises, purchase of sundries such as hymn books, etc. etc.). The leaders and membership may then, by prayerful agreement, decide to designate sums as contributions to various missionary endeavours, or one-off gifts to Christians with particular needs (read about all this in your Bibles!). A local church may also decide to help in humanitarian ways, such as where disasters have occurred.
If some kind of mutually agreed general organisation also exists which enables like-minded local Christian groups to have wider fellowship with each other, then any regular support to be sent to it should be decided by agreement of local memberships and leaderships. That is the only reason for any locally sourced income to be sent elsewhere, and a local group is free at any time to withdraw from such an arrangement.
Therefore the needs of local Christians, and especially those of their pastor, are paramount, and should be met by the local group. That is in part the rationale behind voluntary tithes and offerings; if local believers give appropriately, the pastor whom they support will be enabled to live in a manner which represents the average standads of the local members who have called him to serve them.
So where does the Daniels' insistence that all local groups of worshippers connected with their LEF organisation should send all their income directly to the Daniels (a.k.a 'headquarters') come from? That local full-time leaders (known only as 'evangelists' for some reason) should be self-supporting so that the Daniels can use locally-sourced tithes and offerings for their own needs and enjoyment, or to finance endless 'retreats' for their own platform glorification, or build increasingly prestigious, fancy 'prayer halls' (again to show off their, and their friends', - lack of - 'preaching' skills?).
Please wake up, LEF people. You are being duped by the kind of Biblical illiterates who think Noah sat at the feet of Jesus and whose deluded sisters 'heal' refrigerators. Decide, prayerfully, whether your local 'evangelist' is fit to be your pastor, and if he is, support him to the best of your abilities with the money you are going to stop sending to the Daniel leeches and their hangers-on. If he is not fit to serve, prayerfully call your own pastor.
Clearly the Daniels are going to have to be self-supporting. You owe it to them to suggest how, according to their marketable skills. Here are some ideas:

This one is hilarious!!! By the way Daniel Five are pet sitters and that's how they pay for their education and also pitch in to take care of their parents' bills. This important information was included in the letter alleged to have written by Joshua Daniel appointing his son John Daniel as the next head of LEF. It was read by Dr. Samraj Samuel. You might still find the May retreat session "archived" from 2014. If somebody can tell us what date and what session, we can provide the information here. He did not undertake any formal studies in any reputable English evangelical theological college, and is not recorded as having earned or been awarded any academic or theological qualification in England. He has never been instrumental in any evangelical revival in England.
The 'doctorate' title that he used was probably purchased in the back streets of Bombay.

Studebaker was a car manufacturer in USA ,the factory of this now defunct company was once located in South Bend ,Indiana.Incidentally thats the place where JD & Family lived before they moved to South Lyon,Michigan.

Any one who does not follow the truth from the mouth of God and does anything against his word and think they are not accountable because of they are powerful. You are delusional probably gone too far to no return place where Jesus gave up on you. Such people at least should stop stealing and ruining others leave alone the innocent just enjoy your wicked life till you have time on earth.

Seeing this naiveté and gullibility of the people, many unscrupulous people enter into the field of religion and become self-styled godmen. And if these godmen happen to have some charisma and some sleight of hand to perform ‘miracles’, then they become anointed as incarnations of God. They invent some rituals for their own worship and fleece their doting worshipers of hard-earned money.
These godmen are not interested in loving God or in helping others to love God. They love only their own bellies and bank accounts and egos. Such people have perverted much of what goes on in the name of religion into an exploitative business in the name of God.
Nonetheless, there are still those who practice religion for the sake of loving God. By proper education, we can learn to identify those sincere religionists and with their association develop love for God

As shameless as members of Daniel clan are, they still want to act like some innocent victims after ruining the lives of hundreds if not thousands of people. Betty tops the list of shameless people in that clan who is constantly running around with her wild and contradicting statement and her shifting stand on her mom and other family members. It was not too long ago she posted on her FB page that her mom is possessed by some "Jezebel" spirit and now suddenly Lily Daniel has become the helpless victim of bullying. She keeps blabbering about some wife beater and weaves up her own concocted stories about people with her wild imagination. Her own mother, brother and sister have chased her out of LEF and as she told several people treated her as a dog. Now what is this sudden twist? She knocked on the doors of several people trying to find out if they can help her to get a "rightful place in LEF" as she is the "eldest grand daughter" of LEF founder. This woman lacks common sense. Couldn't she or other family members make her late dad realize that Immanuel Chakravarthy was immoral man? This senseless woman claims that her dad saw the FB postings about Immanuel Chakravarthy to act. Really Betty? So, you couldn't otherwise convince your dad to remove IC? You needed to bulldoze your dad to do the right thing by posting stuff on FB about IC? What does that tell you about your great family? It tells the world that unless your dad is publicly shamed through your FB posts, he did not feel the need to remove IC. That is the great legacy of your family. Perhaps this blog is the continuation of the public shaming technique that you started to expose your own family members that is now used to rid LEF of your wicked and evil family. Betty, you started this trend of public shaming and it has gone too far now for you to contain it. So, suck it up and go with the flow.

DeleteWithout realising it, Betty Daniel is assisting the Whistleblowers' endeavours by her silly, attention-seeking behaviour. Not very long ago she announced that an American gentleman who posted about her father's misdeeds in fact wanted to marry her, and was only posting criticism of her family because she turned him down. She accused him of hiding behind anonymity, which he did not, but Betty was so wrapped up in her own twisted indignation that she failed to notice this. Now she is 'riding to the rescue' of the her mother Lily (queen of intrigue and conniving!) like some kind of demented Sir Galahad (the same mother who does not seem to want her around, and as mentioned above, Betty described as a 'Jezebel' only a short while ago). Not long before this latest outburst, we were treated to Betty's account of her newly-discovered ability to 'heal' domestic appliances by 'laying hands' on them.
One can only wonder at the naivete (or foolishness) of the flock at Miami Village church if they regard this deluded woman as some kind of 'leader'......although there do seem to be a number of free 'hand-outs' there, which might explain why they are not too bothered about the sanity of those who stand at the front on Sundays.
This woman's behaviour would be tragic if it were not so comic........
Only by the sovereign grace of God can people truly turn to the Lord if they have at any time been subjected to the ridiculous 'gospel' preached by the words, and in particular the lives, of the Daniels.
What Betty says about abuse is absolutely true. Across from the pulpit people have no idea what some top LEF do to cover their wickedness to get on the pulpit. There is lot of even blood shed. Even senior Daniel grandmother could not do anything about it though warned these people many times. These people have connections with bribe(even inside big churches), money and hit men. They threaten to ruin the entire loved once if their secret comes out. Ruined thousands of lives. The administration knows about these things. But fish curry some money takes a long way. This may sound very strange and unbelievable. Going on for decades. This is a team work. Betty is 100% right. They may hide behind the pulpit but not for ever because Luke 12 :2-3 says 2"But there is nothing covered up that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known.3"Accordingly, whatever you have said in the dark will be heard in the light, and what you have whispered in the inner rooms will be proclaimed upon the housetops

All those stage-whispered 'Yes Jesus!'s, and cuddlings of earthquake-stricken infants pictured on her FB page for the benefit of her supposed 'fan club'......in reality a convenient way of by-passing possible arrest and trying to promote her 'spiritual' image at the same time.

Noah put his net and caught a lot of Gold. ReplyDeleteIn the LEF, sitting and studying the Bible is frowned, get on the stage and just talk (blabber) as it is taught/ believed and acted that “for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.", conveniently hiding and forgetting the fact that contextually it is not preaching which is meant here but persecution (in the previous verse we read "When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say”). This is very self-serving and helpful to the bum preachers who talk whatever they want and feel that the Holy Spirit is talking through them. Always the congregation is told “If you don’t understand it is your problem for the preacher is preaching the word of the Holy Spirit”). It has led to hilarious funny situations where late JJD used to keep a light before him, He will just talk disconnectedly. Suddenly the light will glow (meaning 10 more minutes, before the video tape gets over) and he will desperately try to close his message. Seems one foreigner commented “How nice your LEF trainees are, they have learnt faith, in our country when they complete their theological education they lose their faith in their pursuit of excellence. Immediately the LEF trainees were taught, if you pursue excellence in theology you will lose your faith. So the present preachers of LEF take a great pride that their messages, have no content nor sense, each preacher preaches worse than the other and it has become a downward spiral. Today in the LEF only loyalty to JJD / LD is required, bad preaching and a loose life is also required to be a star preacher. Money collection to the Daniel robbery tribe is the only qualification required to preach.

ReplyDeleteLily and Joshua Daniel bullied countless vulnerable Indians in the most disgusting manner imaginable. If any questioned them, they would threaten them with divine retribution, for 'questioning the Lord's anointed' (i.e. Joshua Daniel - in fact nobody's 'anointed'!). If people showed signs of leaving LEF (and taking their offerings and free labour with them!), Lily and Joshua Daniel would threaten them that bad things would happen to them if they did.....that they would become ill, or something would happen to their children. Lily and Joshua Daniel had no pastoral concern for the welfare of their followers, no sense of shame when they said these things to people who were already struggling with their circumstances, which Lily and Joshua then implied would worsen.
They tried to bully non-Indians in similar ways, as has been revealed on this and other blogs. Happily the more savvy Americans and Europeans called their bluff and ejected them or left.
Joshua Daniel has already been made accountable to the God who abhors 'whited sepulchres', people who ill-treat the vulnerable in the name of His Son Jesus Christ.
Looking again at Lydia Daniel's accolades directed at her father in his recent memorial service, one is appalled at the nauseatingly distorted picture she painted of him. Much emphasis was placed on how he 'loved people'. 'Loving people' is not bullying them and living off the proceeds of this kind of emotional blackmail. When did Joshua Daniel descend from his comfortable pedestal and get his own hands dirty in caring for the poor and sick? All he was ever seen doing was abusing people, especially fellow Indians, from the platform, and holding court in his private premises to queues of naive followers - giving them the benefit of his dubious 'wisdom' and telling them to 'exercise faith' if they showed signs of requiring any practical help from him.
So Joshua is gone, and has no doubt received his 'just reward', whatever that was. No more opportunity to repent and put things right.
However Lily remains, and her 'eldest child' Betty has lumbered to her defence (how tired we are of Betty's 'eldest child' claim, made as if it were something to be proud of, when in reality it is her stake in whatever assets she thinks she might gain from LEF thereby). Betty is playing the 'stop bullying my mother because she is elderly and I am her protective daughter' game.
What goes around comes around, Betty. Your 'elderly mother ' bullied and upset countless others during her rise to LEF prominence. If she feels that she is being bullied now by her victims, can she really be surprised? Old age is no hindrance to reaping what one sows.
Instead of playing at being a knight in armour, Betty Daniel, you would do well to help your mother acknowledge her own wrong-doing before God, and try to put things right with God and man whilst she still can. Stop wasting time 'healing' inanimate appliances, and hunting for 'miracles', and start doing something useful. Take a break yourself from assaulting the elderly and then seeking advice about dodging possible arrest (in Chennai). Stop visiting India so that you can advertise yourself and your lineage on TV, hoping to impress (who pays for these trips, by the way? Miami Village Church?). Help your mother in a truly biblical way, and yourself too.
Christians do not usually take public issue with the negative behaviour of 'elderly, grieving widows' unless there is a very good reason for it.
Hey Betty.. In answer to your post on Facebook as to why we post under anonymous: The people of the church have been so harassed by your family that they no longer want to be embroiled directly for fear of the consequences . You should remember that LEF not only pronounces the person as an outcast but the family members are treated the same way as well.. Why don't you take the Daniel family in its entirety and settle abroad? you and your clan have ruined my opinion about how a church should be. In the post you have mentioned that the credibility of the whistle-blowers has been blown stating just a single accusation. Why didn't you respond to the other accusations levelled against you? Does that mean that they are true? Think of those people who have been deluded by LEF and who gain nothing, out of serving it, other than admonitions that their faith is too little.. Your family is responsible for it as well. I hope they don't send us all to the same heaven. I rather find a place elsewhere if people who coordinate so much chaos get to go to heaven without repentance.

DeleteBeing 'cast out' of LEF has got to be a blessing, whether or not misguided LEF people realise it! It leaves them free to find a real church, to realise that 'being called of God' does not mean that Christians refuse to work for a living, and to be released from having their time and money blackmailed out of them by hirelings.
Interesting that the only thing Betty Daniel (she of the supernaturally healed kitchen appliances!) objects to is the anonymity of many who post here.
Does this mean that Betty acknowledges the truth of everything else she reads on LEF Whistleblower?

Haha yes it is a blessing. I walked out of the church and I started attending another church which has been proving a blessing to me. I am quite nauseated by the amount of careless snobbery shown by Daniel clan.

I hope others will post about their experience. It will counter the bullying of the Daniels, who try to stop people leaving with threats that 'bad things will happen' if they do. What a calculated and evil lie!
