WHY IS LEF HAUNTED BY GHOSTS?

Why are LEF centers playing the DVD messages of dead man? Are there not any men with breath in their nostrils who can preach to the Sunday morning congregations of LEF? Why is LEF haunted by the dead spirit of late JD? Why is LEF having ghost preachers? Is it a sign to prove that LEF is dead both spiritually and physically?
What message is LEF sending to people, if all it has to spiritually nourish the congregation are the messages of a dead man? Now what happens if somebody needs a clarification to what is being preached that is played on those DVDs? Are we going to tell them to wait till they die to meet the preacher either in hell or heaven as the case may be to seek clarifications?
A church that sits and listens to the message of a dead man day in day out will only be a dead church if it already is not. We dread for the children who are growing up in LEF churches today who are constantly exposed to ghost preaching. It might be a matter of time before which people in LEF might start communicating with dead spirits. LEF people's desire to communicate with their beloved dead preacher might get the better of some people and push them to start dealing with dead spirit of Joshua Daniel. Shame on you all for proving to the world that all that is left in LEF today is GHOST PREACHING.
Shame on LD and JJD for stooping so low to make money (collecting tithes) using the messages of a dead man. John Daniel, put some effort into what you are doing and try to memorize your dad's sermons one by one and see if you can recite them on the stage. You may be shabby and clumsy in the beginning. Remember the saying " Practice makes a man perfect." If you practice well enough, you might be able to reproduce your dad's messages.
Also, this is to the evangelists and preachers of LEF- what is your role in taking care of a center if all you are doing is playing the DVD's of this dead man? Is it money collection? It may be a matter of time before all the LEF evangelists and workers will have late JD's picture hanging around their neck with a bowl to beg in one hand and a record player playing Joshua Daniel's messages in the other hand...

  1. Perfect! Need one have to say more?

These LEF goons are against traditions. This is because they will be held accountable if traditions are followed. Its good and appreciable its followed in many other denominations. Thats the reason they are still in order.

    A few suggestions.

1.There should be elected or other representatives from each church reporting and recording from center to center the incomes and expenses including offering collected. These representatives should be on rotational basis.

    2. This should be shared in the fasting prayers on a quarterly basis at least.

3.The Lords Table happens once in a year in many centers and dose not even happen in a few centers. This also should be made monthly at least on Saturdays.

4.Marriages should not be Hushed up.. Like in other churches it has to be announced for at least 3 weeks regularly before marriage.

    5. Christ is victor has to carry out all important information. Not just messages and meetings. It should carry out all info regarding appointment of / transfer of evangelists and other important details of the Organisation.

    6. Proper committees have to be set up and all records should maintained and be made available when ever required by any member.

    7. All centers should be registered only in the name of LEF Trust and not in the name of JD & Family or any other individual.

    8. Proper government rules should be followed.

    9. Church should not use specific community or religion name in any service. This really hurts. For example. Heathen people or non christian can be used instead of telling the name of religion specifically. In fact the Ungodly people are tolerating us more than we do with them.

    1. Thanks for your suggestions but hoping that the present LEF leadership family will implement them is like wanting to get a boiling hot ice cream cone, it will not be done, when the present corrupt system satisfies the rotten family why will they change it

    2. This Lef is such a nasty dubious organization which speaks on the stage one thing and behaves just opposite what they speak. Do you know how the one who is elevated to the position of supervisor over Bible student is not caught in HQ ... ? I come to know he bribes the students and their families with gifts. ask them whether he gifted them with clothes or not .His kisses for them are just like the kisses of Absalome against LEF. His kisses are just like the kisses of Judas against the Lord Himself.
You know why DVDs of late JD are played because they worship him as little god in the past and in present. Do you know his dvds are still played in Shubavartha tv channel because they want to cheat the christondom telling them JD is not dead. But speaks still even though he died. This same JD told me that I should not conduct memorial service to my husband who served the Lord from 1984 to 2000 in Eluru. His letter is still with me telling me that LEF is against memorial services. He also said in that letter he wants to stop the memorial service of his dad N. DANIEL thereafter. He wrote that letter in 2001. Can you believe how dubious cheaters are these people ??

  2. JJD if you have self respect find a good job and support your family. You guys are living there in Michigan using the money we give as offerings and tithes. Dont come to India with your children travelling first class and make a mockery of the LEF Pulpit. You are a poor joke.

Before becoming a leader you must be a servant.Learn what is Servant Leadership.

  3. But this slavish playing of JD's old messages has been going on for decades - just as the Christ is Victor pamphlet (at least in the UK) is dominated by old messages from JD and his father (both now dead). Junior JD has been furnishing the UK with this content for years. Equally Saturday night prayer meetings were (and probably still are) centred around old messages from JD which most people had already heard; May retreats re-lived in tedious detail year after year. If you visit the UK centre you will hear one of the (salaried) trustees editing hours and hours of JD messages. These again seem to be produced on TV, together with the unremarkable singing of the grandchildren (heavily supported by a commercial backing track), who can be seen advancing in age from children to teenagers to young women in their twenties. Even the JD-written books, prominently displayed, are badly written and often self-congratulatory in tone.

What I find puzzling is how so many could be hypnotised into the subservient imbibing of such mediocre fayre, sometimes for most of their lives. My explanation for the period I spent acquiescing to this aspect of ' LEF-ness ' is that I grew fond of the local people involved, and it seemed at that time a 'comfortable' environment to be in (apart from some dubious theology, and the rather sickly aroma of 'Daniel worship'). Such an explanation does me no credit. If we willingly sit under ministries, and participate in organisations which name the name of Christ, knowing them to be defective and not glorifying, then it says little for our own integrity. Many have abandoned LEF, but many remain enslaved, and not only in India.

On a lighter note, I was amused to read the evocation of certain people with JD pics and begging bowls eventually haunting (appropriate term...) the streets. But it isn't really funny, especially when one considers the accompanying irony (or was it irony?) of the possibility of dedicated 'Danielites' resorting to spiritist solutions in order to regain a closer connection to their guru.

Please, Indian brothers and sisters, just.......leave it all behind and look for a theologically sound, biblically-governed local church. God has promised to provide His own with all they need if they are faithful in following Jesus and rejecting all that is not of Him.

    2. It will be nice if you change the name of Laymens Evangelical Fellowship to Daniel Family Fans & Sycophants Association.

Why not make a JD Bible include messages of Senior in an Old Testament Book Daniel II,JDs messages in Daniel III and JJD's Messages as Daniel IV.

  4. Its very easy to leave and go to another church. But what happens to what you have done so many years. Is it to see these rogues swindle everything. Is it not appropriate to tell other potential victims and save them from what is wrong. Knowing these lairs and traps will we not be accountable for not letting others know about these goons.

Me being a member for over 35 years, I was also blinded till now due to these stupid doctrines. They preach saying don't look at others. You be right ect.
But God has given everyone spirit of discernment. Will not God ask us one day saying "are you a fool - I gave you your own sences and the same word of God the Bible. What did you do with it.' Were you so blind that you cannot see you being made a clown and slave. Whereas I have called you to be kings and princess"

    1. (To Anonymous 11 March at 6.26): you make a good point, further to mine; those who willingly allow themselves to be duped and manipulated by those who distort God's Word and God's ways will indeed be made accountable to Him if, having been warned, they continue to support the wrongdoers. Joshua Daniel controlled simple people (and, indeed, not so simple!), often by using the threat and accusation of sinfulness against those who dare to question 'God's anointed (i.e. himself, in his view!). This was, and is, a gross distortion of what is meant in Scripture by 'God's anointed'. Nevertheless there is rather a genuine risk of angering God by continuing to support the LEF, than by abandoning it - ironically, precisely the opposite of the warnings that Joshua and Lily gave to those who indicated disillusionment with 'their' fellowship and, indeed, themselves.

All true Christians are given the gift of discernment, it is true, but not so that we may merely discern without acting. In the past I was made personally aware of many who were unhappy and disillusioned with LEF, but were afraid to act. There is now no excuse for inactivity. You know that there are many, many others now prepared to speak out. You are no longer alone in your doubts, unwilling to express them for fear of some 'Daniel-ish' rebuke or punishment. Those who do not act on what they now know, and continue to support the LEF, must surely be constrained largely by self-interest.

No need for drama.....just quietly walk away, and give your time, effort, and money to something else which is obviously, demonstrably, and transparently God's work. No amount of time spent involved in the LEF was truly 'wasted'; we have a sovereign God who acts sovereignly in our lives, and sometimes allows us to go down what appear to be unprofitable paths so that ultimately we may learn truths which, though perhaps mysteriously opaque at the time, will bring us closer to understanding Him and His ways.

  5. Please see below weekly article from Zac Poonen on 03/07/2015. We should pray that God would raise up people like Nehemiah who would stand up for the truth and fight against injustice.

In Nehemiah 1:1-3 we find that Nehemiah was concerned enough to find out the state of the exiles who had returned and of Jerusalem. This is the primary characteristic of any man whom God uses – he has a concern for people and then God gives him a burden. If you want to serve the Lord, begin with a concern for others. God never uses a man who has no concern for others. Nehemiah asked Hanani, “How are things going on there?” And Hanani told him that the walls were broken down and the gates burned with fire. Nehemiah was concerned about the broken walls and the burnt gates. When he heard the news, he wept and mourned for many days, and he fasted and prayed. That is the type of man whom God is looking for today – one who has a concern and a burden when he sees the condition of God’s church.

Nehemiah lived under the old covenant. He did not have the Holy Spirit dwelling in him, as we have. He did not have a full Bible, no church-fellowship, books, tapes or conferences such as we have today in such abundance. He did not know anything about the cross. Yet he had such a tremendous burden. He was not a “full time worker”. He was a man who had a secular job. He supported himself and served the Lord. Nehemiah is a great example of a man who was absolutely selfless and who was concerned for the glory of God’s Name alone. If we can be challenged to emulate his example, God may be able to do something with our lives too.

Nehemiah had never been sad in the king’s presence before (Neh. 2:1). He was not a gloomy type of person. The king had always seen him happy. And now he was sad. But he was not sad concerning himself or his family. He was sad because Jerusalem was in such shambles. O that there were more people in the church like that today!

Nehemiah went to Jerusalem and stayed alone three days without going anywhere - probably fasting and praying (Neh. 2:11). Then he rose at night and took a few men with him. He had not told anyone what God had put into his mind, because he knew that there were enemies who would try and hinder him (Neh. 2:10). He knew it was no use gathering people together who had no burden for God’s work. So he went with just a few and inspected the walls and gates.

    1. Every Christian has been enabled to stand up for truth and justice. We do not need to pray for somebody else to do it, but for courage and wisdom as we do it ourselves.

  6. In Nehemiah 5:1-13, we see Nehemiah’s great care for the poor and the oppressed and those who were in debt, in their midst. He spoke to their creditors and got them all released from their debts. In verse18, we see Nehemiah’s the wonderful example in not taking any of the money he was entitled to, as governor of the province - even though he was working so hard and feeding 150 Jews and many from other nations at his table daily! He was a hospitable man who served God, like Noah and Paul did, at his own expense. He used all the money available for building the wall. Here was a man who lived with great sacrifice and did not use money that was used for God’s work in any way for himself. Wherever God sees a servant of His who is faithful with money, there will be no limit to which God uses him. God forsakes many of His servants, because He sees them taking advantage of their brothers financially.

In Chapter 9, we read what God did through Nehemiah. The chapter begins with the Israelites fasting, confessing their sins and separating themselves from the heathen (v.1,2). Then they had a three-hour Bible-study time and three hours of praising the Lord and confessing their sins. It was revival all over again (v.3). Then the Levites stood up and cried to the Lord with a loud voice (v.4). From v.6 to v.31, we have the longest recorded prayer in the whole Bible. The Levites then rehearsed the history of Israel from Abraham’s time, and their failure during the forty years of wandering in the wilderness and during the times of the judges and the kings and acknowledging that every judgment that God had sent was just and right. They repented and signed a document before God, with Nehemiah signing first of all (Neh. 10:1).

In Chapter 12, we read how Nehemiah organised the people to look after the gates and those who were to lead the times of praise. Notice in the movement of God’s people from Babylon to Jerusalem, the constant emphasis on fasting, prayer, confession of sin, many hours of Bible-study, long meetings and much praising and worshipping of God.

In Chapter 13, we see Nehemiah’s zeal for purity in God’s house. He went into the temple and did something similar to what Jesus did when He cleansed the temple in Jerusalem. Nehemiah found that people had allowed their unconverted relatives to stay in the temple. Eliashib the priest was related to Tobiah (Neh. 13:4) and had prepared a large room for him. Nehemiah chased them all out. He “threw out all of Tobiah’s household goods and cleaned up the house of God” (v.8). He also noticed that many people were making money by selling things on the Sabbath (v.15). He rebuked them and warned them and even threatened to use force against them (v.21). If people don’t fear God then they must fear a man of God. He also discovered that some of the Jews had married non-Jewish women. Nehemiah “contended with them, cursed them, slapped them, and pulled out their hair and their beards, and made them swear never to give their children in marriage to non-Jews again.”( v.25). Thus Nehemiah purified the priesthood without any partiality, appointed duties for the priests and even got down to the nitty-gritty of arranging for the supply of wood for the sacrifices (v.30,31)!

  8. The reason ghost preaching is used is to prevent the development of new and better preachers. Even the messages attributed to Nagabanthalu are in reality cooked up by bible college students and their wives. Soul winning and holy living are no more priorities for LEF. Only money gathering and splurging is the only and first priority
