Here is what one of our readers sent to the whistle blowers to illustrate the inhuman and greedy ways of LEF leadership

Of haunted houses:
It has been the pattern of the first family to appropriate the house/apartment of its members. In their reckoning the legal heirs/children should not claim ownership of their parents’ house(ancestral property). After obtaining it, they follow the “dog in the manger” policy. It will be allowed to lie vacant for years. At least rent could be collected and such monies could be of financial assistance to some poor evangelist’s family (No, No, No they all should learn faith!). In Goa there was mention of one such apartment in a prime residential area which was allowed to gather dust. It is true all over India!
Right in front of HQ, the property of Dr. M.D. Paul is a case in point. The second level is gathering dust as no worthy evangelist family could be identified for the past many years. But just a stone’s throw away there are 2 to 3 evangelist families sharing a combined area of 600 sq.ft!
There were instances where some people have been coerced to forfeit their living space and later such widows/elderly women were left to die as destitute, totally uncared for. James 1:27 “Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction,…”
The Elephant Corridor:
The property acquired in Masinagudi was originally supposed to be an orphanage. A person with a father’s heart would not think of this Elephant habitat to be a suitable place for an orphanage. Since there are no orphans in India the “orphanage” exists only on paper for obvious reasons. A saintly family was approached by the first family, requesting details about the grandchildren [the strategy is to get only the details (government requirement) but not to get involved in the nitty gritty of caring and nurturing of those children]. Thankfully, their uncles took up the cudgels and the matter came to an abrupt end.
The WERSI fiasco:
Some decades ago there was a grand move. A fantastic electronic organ was dismantled back in Germany and smuggled in piecemeal by our German contingent. The outer shell had to be brought anyways! But that was confiscated by the Indian Customs. They always have a way out you see! The big boss used to globe trot without a penny in his pocket ; he would thunder from the platform. A challenge for all the lesser mortals like us – who are woefully short of faith. In this context he will not pay bribe, but his trusted minions would do and they have done that time and time again – the shell was released.
How long can this wait, so an aeronautical engineer John Perucii ( I hope the spelling is right) arrives on the scene. With able assistance from our own breed of engineers they assembled the nuts and bolts together. Voila, what an array of lights. Alas, no music! So much for the misadventure that backfired so miserably! Not a chord was struck and this monument of misadventure was backstage for many years in HQ. Alternatively, we could have embellished with a hundred rupee serial set! There is another Grandpiano fiasco that happened some years later, but that is another sad story.

What about a huge (by Mumbai Standards ) 2 integrated flats in Mumbai, I heard they were transferred to JJD. Dr. M.D. Paul's house has a history, when it was purchased seems the LEF gave a loan of Rs.6000 and years later the Rouge famuily gave a fantastic explanation, that it had paid 50 % of the purchase amount, No one objected and callu baby was put up there, You cant put ordinary human evangelists in its properties is the LEF argument If you find blue blooded people miraculously the properties would be filled. Bribes were always paid, maybe called as Developmental fees / consultants fees. Masinaguidi is slightly different, the Bum seller loaded it on to fool Lydiamma's head so that she can become a MD for marriage purposes, and as there was no possibility of construction, it became a LEF church.It is also a IC personal property
ReplyDeleteWait .You have not mentioned all things associated to the house where late Dr.Paul stayed.Many people would not know that Dr.Paul is the maternal uncle of LD.When JD & LD got married in 1958 LD's father refused to come to the marriage.The responsibility of giving the hand of LD (representing the father who was absent) fell on Dr.Paul.
DeleteMrs.LD never forgot that act of kindness and was ever grateful to her uncle.She ensured that all the children of her uncle barring the son were put in charge of crucial LEF activities.

What happened to the property in Trichy? After Peter Iqbal the brother in law of JD left Trichy the house was remaining vacant for long time ....hardly a few members are attending the service on sundays .....

Please throw more light on the above situations, if it had happened in LEF. When the Bible teaches us to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction what you have mentioned is just the contrary when people are coerced to forfeit their living space and later such widows/elderly women were left to die as destitute, totally uncared for.. Is it really true ...... unbelievable if so, Please give more evidences in the blog
That house in front of HQ is not haunted.Calu stays there to keep a watch over the HQ (SPY).
