IS THERE ANY RESPONSE FROM LD AND GROUP TO THE DEMANDS MADE BY AMBOJI CHILDREN, WHOSE DAD WAS POSTED TO NALGONDA AFTER KICKING OUT GIDEON BY WRONGLY IMPLICATING GIDEONS?

We have some update to give based on the information passed on from the Amboji children to the whistle blower community. To jog the memory of our readers, this is from our earlier post:

Here is an excerpt from the letter Amboji family sent to the head of LEF to find out some information about the policies and procedures of LEF as Mr. Baburao was completely manipulated by LEF leadership and since the mom cannot stay alone for too long, his children wanted to get some answers on the policies and procedures of LEF.

1.   Do you still want our dad’s services for LEF at the LEF center that the Late Joshua Daniel sent our dad in March’2014?

2.   If the answer is YES, can you provide us with an official letter confirming the same?

3.   Who will be providing for the day to day living expenses of our parents?

4.   How much salary will LEFI be paying for the services my dad is rendering to LEFI?

5.   What kind of mode of transportation will LEF provide for my parents as they need to be traveling to surrounding villages to work for LEFI?

6.   What kind of housing does LEFI provide?

7.   Who will take care of their medical expenses and also who will be tending to them when they become physically unfit?

8.   If one of them dies while being under LEF umbrella, who and how will the other person be taken care of till the end of his/her life?

9. What is the transfer policy of LEFI workers- how often and under what circumstances does LEFI transfer its workers from one place to another?

10. We also need to know what is the severance package that LEF gives to people when they are removed from LEF center? 
11. Last but not least, we need to know who is liable for the loss of our parents’ life if it is on account of working for LEFI.

As anticipated John Daniel did not think it was necessary to answer these questions and acted high and mighty. He called for Mr. Baburao in the recently concluded Student Retreat and made Mr. Baburao to confirm to them that he is going to Nalgonda on his own will and that he is willing desert his sick wife, children and grandchildren to go and work for LEF if that's what LEF work demands. Mr. Baburao has been continuing to go to Nalgonda in spite of all the resistance from the children and his wife. 

As the children wanted to get to the bottom of it, one of the Amboji children has confronted Lily Daniel and some shocking revelations came out from that conversation.

1. LEF does not give any appointment  letters or letters confirming free or reduced wage work or volunteering. This is how they have operated for last 60 or more years.

2. They have 2000 workers/volunteers who work in various places along with their families and none of them get any letter from LEF  confirming their appointment. 

3. The volunteers and workers come in as individuals and LEF is not concerned about the willingness of a family member (in this case wife) if the man volunteers to work for them. Baburao's personal problems are his headache and not LEF's. The great LEF is using Mr. Baburao to build families in Nalgonda when Mr. Baburao and his wife are not in one accord about this whole Nalgonda.

It appears that Lily Daniel seemed rather shocked that somebody actually wants a letter a confirming that they are working for LEF. This hesitation and apprehension to just give a letter on an official LEF letter head confirming an appointment of a person as a full-time of evangelist to a LEF center should alert us to a lot of things. 

1. Why should any organization, that too a non-profit have any hesitation what so ever to give a letter of appointment?

2. Why does an organization with the operations of this scale not have systems in place to give proper appointment letters for people who work for this organization?

3. Is LEF some kind of anti-social group with underground operations that it doesn't want to publicly announce its policies and procedures about appointing people as LEF evangelists and pastors?

4. Is it true that LEF doesn't want to assume any responsibility for its worker's and their family members' safety, health and well being?

5. Is LEF scared that if it gives appointment letters, it should also mention the compensation package for its workers and this is something LEF never does. 

However, she promised to check with her son and get back to Amboji children if LEF is going to give an official letter of appointment or not. We will keep you posted if such a letter actually comes from them. This Amboji family issue might bring out a new era in LEF- where the great first family has to now start giving proper appointment letters along with compensation details to all the 2000 workers that Lily Daniel herself claimed to have been working for LEF as workers and evangelists. We are hoping that some general good to LEF community can be done through the fight for justice that Amboji family has started.
