I have some suggestions for you. Please try to control
your anger. You have been trying to scold whomever you think may be wrong
especially those who are always beside you and trying to help you. As said by
Jane Austine “Angry people are not always
wise.” Everyone knows that statement suits you well and that you are that angry
man who is not wise.
You were trying to speak about my report but everyone
is coming to know your report card.
At least from now don't torture the students in B.G and families by making them work all day long. Let them get some
time to study, pray and refresh themselves. Let them become some good servants
of Jesus who would be ready to serve the Lord not serve the fellowship and your
family. Everyone knows that the Bible College you are running is just to get
some free work or get labor free of cost.
You don’t have proper registration
for the fellowship that’s what the whistle blowers are saying. You try to run a
Bible training center, without proper course material and we do not have proper
lecturer to teach the Bible college students. For your construction work
in Beulah Garden, sand lorries come during night times. When asked why during
night times the answer given was “to avoid the police” because that sand is
being smuggled for a cheaper price. Don’t try to build buildings with smuggled
sand. Bible college students are made to stay awake all night and open and
close the gates for the sand lorries to come in and go. You use Bible college
students like slaves. The five years that I spent there are wasted away. What
is all the bogus stuff which you are trying to produce? People should work out
of the free will, but not forced to work. Hope the students would get freedom
soon. Students are not watchmen for the fellowships or your own personal
property. Please remember that you will have to give an account for that. If
you are not going to free them you will have to face serious consequences for
that.
I already told your mom that I would have to go legally
for all that has been done for me and our family. I got a dismissal letter
because I told you all that I will take legal action against you and your
family. That letter also said that fellowship does not have money for legal
cases. Now I see that fellowship has a lot of money that can be swindled out
for all kinds of things. No proper
account be produced. Get ready to stand before the Judge of all the Earth. Make
your hands clean before it is high time.
You trust only people who are similar clowns like you
and they are your personal assistants. And sometimes you also act like their
assistant by following such advises as to snatch someone’s phone and then those
assistants of yours help to open all personal information from the phone and
publish it.

they served faithfully for last 30+ years) throw some light into how barbaric
Late JD, LD and John Daniel are to helpless families.
I do hope that others will follow the example of this family and sever all connections with the LEF. No Christian should be associated with such a discredited organisation, even if there still remain people in it who have not knowingly deceived, or bullied others, or mismanaged funds for their own profit. Whats wrong about a father desiring the best education for his children.I am sure you would agree with me that nothing is wrong about it.We wish the best for every evangelists children.We are to be blamed for elevatng them higher than our family.We respected every word which the evangelist spoke not realizing that he is a man and is bound to be prejudiced .While they dictated our lifestyle,our dress style and our marriages they set flexible standards for their children.

He is confident that he would be welcomed in heaven.lef preachers are quick to notice the spec in everybody's eye but cannot see the plank in their own eye.how do we correct this brother? ReplyDeleteI appreciate that you are trying to expose the corruptions that have gone into the LEF. Financial and sexual corruptions are the 2 most common ones that can pull down any organization. The LEF is no different. I also pity the people who have lost a lot of their time believing that this organization has merit, losing their education, jobs and their entire lives. As I read most of the blogs, I am amazed to note that most of the corruptions I foresaw in the nineties itself. It didn't need rocket science to sense that. Also my approach was to stand at a distance and watch this ship sink. Instead I searched for the right Church to worship God. I turned North, South, East and West. These corruptions are there in most churches. Finally after 5 years of study, I decided to join the Holy Roman Catholic Church. It has had it's challenging periods of scandals and irregularities too. But it comes out corrected and stronger and better. It is 2000 years old, founded by our very Savior, it's President is the Holy Spirit and it's CEO is the Almighty God the Father Himself. DeleteI think you have forgotten that the New Testament church existed before the Roman Cathollic organisation came into being. You have forgotten that the Roman Catholic organisation is even more wealthy and powerful than LEF. That through the centuries abuse has characterised the Roman Catholic organisation. That Roman Catholic adherents were and are made to pay for their 'salvation' in one way or another - the Roman Catholic organisation's idea of salvation relies on totalling up ' good works', not on the free grace taight by Jesus Christ. That Roman Catholic adherents can buy their way out of marriages they dislike. That even now, and internationally, scandals involving the sexual abuse of children by 'priests' are being disclosed on a regular basis. That the Roman Catholic organisation requires its adherents to give god-like status to Mary, the mother of Jesus, who was a sinner just as we are. That the Pope of Rome is a heretic who claims to speak as God when ex cathedra.
I could go on. Please do not advise already hurting and damaged LEF people to jump out of the frying pan into the fire.
Please read the Catechism of the Catholic Church to know the official position of the RCC. Many things that you state here are hear-say and not official positions of the RCC. Mary is not God, she was never given God or God-like status. There is only God in THree Persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit as per the RCC clearly written in the Catechism.
ReplyDeleteScandals have plagued the Roman Church through the centuries. But over a period of time, it is corrected and cleansed. Ask yourself some of these questions: 1> Where is the NT church now if it preceded the RCC? My view is the NT Church evolved into the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church which brought out the Nicene Creed in 325 AD. THat Church exists even today in the forms of the RCC and the Greek Orthodox Church.
2> Who is the founder of the RCC? In LEF's context, it was founded in 1935 or so by Mr.N Daniel. Here I am challenging all of you, that the founder of the RCC is our very Saviour Himself. That is what the official teaching of the Catholic Church is. If you disagree, please tell me when and who founded the RCC.
3> The LEF is around 75 or 76 years old. The RCC is 2000 years old founded in 37 AD in Jerusalem by our Savior. It's scandals came by sinful men who brought disrepute to the Church. But since it's President is the Holy Spirit Himself, He corrects it. Remember one apostle betrayed Christ. So there are Judas' even today in the RCC. But those Judas' cannot undermine Christ. Even so, the corruptions in the RCC cannot undermine the RCC itself.
4> Read about many similar organizations such as the LEF started in the 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th centuries. They are there for a time, maybe 3 or 4 generations and then they wade and wane and perish. There is no organizational leadership skills that the organization needs to evolve to future generations and slowly they all perish. Why does the RCC have to last 2000 years? There is only reason- the reason is it's founder is the Son of God. All these other organizations though founded by good men and for good motives, were ultimately founded by men and not the Master Himself. If the RCC survived 2000 years, then what probability exists that it perishes tomorrow. The probability is so high that it sustains itself until Christ comes again, for she is His Bride after all.
Please think about the thoughts that I put to you with a rational unprejudiced approach. Feel free to contact me about any theological, historical questions you have about the RCC. If you are searching for constancy, for a church that will last forever, and if you quit the LEF and go to another one, what guarantee is there that it's fate will not be the fate of the LEF in the generations to come. With the RCC, that problem does not exist at all for reasons I already stated. God Bless!

DeleteThank you for taking the trouble to set out your position on Roman Catholicism. I have to say I respectfully disagree with you on every point, but this is not the place for an in depth discussion about Roman Catholic dogma, as the Whistleblowers' purpose is to release those imprisoned within LEF, not to send them into the domination of yet another cultish group! Nobody here is seeking to promote or defend the LEF, or any other unbiblical organisation.
There are many scholarly books written about Roman Catholicism, past and present. I have had sufficiently close associations with Catholicism to know that it has not changed fundamentally, despite the cleansing brought about by the Reformation. It has disguised itself superficially, even become infected by the charismatic movement, but its erroneous beliefs remain constant. Just a couple of thoughts for you to ponder:
Are you quite sure that you will go to be with the Lord when you die? No conditions?
Who is the head of your church?
Have you ever prayed to, or sought help from, dead people, e.g. Mary the mother of Jesus, so-called 'saints' (if you have not, then I fear that you are not a 'good Catholic').
A full and classic assessment of the Roman Catholic position is set out in detail by, amongst many others, the Christian scholar L. Boettner in his volume entitled 'Roman Catholicism'.
The most biblical churches are the groups of local believers who worship together purely led by scriptural principles; who are self-governing, having voluntarily elected from amongst themselves to pastoral office, the eldership, or the diaconate, men whose gifts have been recognised by the local congregation and local membership. Those were the churches of the New Testament, whose origins can be found in the pastoral epistles, and those churches can still be found throughout the world, quietly and independently functioning and evangelising amongst communities, led only by the Lord Jesus Christ. No popes of Rome, no Daniels, no complicated organisations.
Sadly those who are disillusioned by cultish groups like LEF often find themselves attracted to other cultish groups. They have a need to belong to something very tangible, where they will be instructed by others in what to do and what not to do. They have been brainwashed by LEF (or an equivalent) to think that the Bible itself is insufficient for their spiritual needs unless it is interpreted by some kind of (wrongly revered) personality or guru - they have discarded Joshua Daniel, but old habits die hard. They have not been taught to question or discern for themselves. Romanism provides just such a framework for the largely untaught victims of LEF and similar groups.

Thanks for your reply. I already mentioned that the Catholic Church has been inflicted with scandals in it's history by apostate priests and some Popes too. The greatest thing is, it was corrected, reformed and brought back. This does not happen to other organizations because in my opinion, they were all started by men-maybe devout but men ultimately. You talk about some biblical churches. Name them? When were they started? Who started them? Do you have any guarantee that it will last 100 years from now? Please research on groups that were started in the 18th and 19th centuries which do not exist today. Yes they are closed.
ReplyDeleteCatholic Church is not a cult. It was founded by Jesus Christ in 37 AD. It is guided by the Holy Spirit, not the Pope. The Pope is just the earthly head, just as our Lord appointed Peter His Apostle to head the first Church. Then we have the college of Cardinals. They all sit, pray and vote and take decisions. There is no monarchy or totalitarianism as you saw in the LEF. The LEF for all it's decisions in order to make people comply used the technique of "God's will". The Catholic Church never does that. Then we have the Catechism of the Catholic Church where all theology and dogma and beliefs are written. We have canon law for the clergy on which they have to abide, failing which they will be defrocked. If the Pope acted like the way JD or LD acts for 1 minute, how will 1.3 billion people remain in the Catholic Church. The best case for the LEF was just 1 lakh which is not even 1% of the Catholic Church. Just think of that if you want to equate the Pope to JD. Also study how the Popes in our day behaved: Pope John Paul II, Pope Benedict XVI and now Pope Francis. Is there any trace of the traits of the leaders of the LEF?
Coming to the Reformation or any theological principle that you disagree with the Catholic Church, there are so many things that are not mandated for you to believe in. For instance, there is freedom that you can disbelieve in the apparitions of Mary. What is mandated then? It is very simple. The Nicene Creed of 325 AD is the only creed that is mandatory for belief. If you haven't read this creed, please read it. It just contains words to state that there is One God in Three Persons, Christ is True God and True Man, As Man, He Died and Rose Again and will COme Again, the Holy Spirit is the Lord, the Giver of Life, who with the Father and the Son is Worshipped and Glorified.
That's about it. When the media and the writers who write things against the Catholic Church, I welcome it. Please write, so that we correct the errors. We are not afraid to face the Truth. We are not afraid to remove scandalous erroneous priests who bring shame to the Cross of Christ.
I challenge you, that you might jump from LEF to X and then Y and then Z, and then realize that they are all the same. They all will fall and fade away. The Catholic Church will not die, if it existed for 2000 years, it cannot die. It is led and guided by the Holy Spirit.
If you want to interpret the Bible, you can do it anyway. No 2 pastors will agree with a particular verse in Scripture. The Catholic Church has it's interpretation too and it claims that it is God's very interpretation which God guides it. That is a big challenge. In groups such as the LEF, I have not even heard them claim it to be God's interpretation of a passage of Scripture. We need to understand how God sees His word, and not our own or some human's interpretation. How can you be sure, you got the right interpretation. I would rather use the interpretation of the Catholic Church and submit to it, rather than try to do it myself and get it all wrong.
To answer your other question: I am a Catholic since 2006. I worship God alone. In the worship of God, lies the wisdom of man. I have peace in my heart and an assurance that I will receive eternal life because of Christ's merits and grace.
Dear Josh and Anonymous December 21, 2015 4:09 AM, keeping the big picture of what we are trying to accomplish with this blog, we feel that this is not platform to discuss the theological misconceptions of any church. The kind of things that are exposed here are things that are punishable by the law of the land as the law exists today in India or any place Daniels have been looting people in the broad day light under the banner of "Laymen's Evangelical Fellowship." This LEF from its inception has been conceived as a family business to benefit Daniel family and only Daniel family. The one and only aim of this Daniel family was to create an enterprise under the banner of "saving souls" to trap individuals to control them and rob them. So, it has been our relentless effort to boot this Daniel family out so that another generation of people who come to LEF are not looted by these hooligans. So, please take this discussion about Roman Catholic church and its superiority off line. We definitely do not want this platform to be used to promote or advertise for any other organization in lieu of LEF.

I am not sure I completely understand the objective of the blog. Are you trying to revive LEF? My opinion is if all LEF members go to the main-line Churches such as the RCC, then the LEF ceases to exist. I do not think, it is possible to revive and restore LEF. And I think, we all agree that God is going to judge all the wrong-doers of the LEF. They are not going to escape His Justice. Of course, the laws of the land can also come in handy to punish them. So I would recommend that with all the evidences, you file law-suits and book them. But if you are thinking of weeding out the Daniel family and reviving the LEF, I am not sharing this objective for I do not believe it will work. Personally to escape the venom of the cultic LEF, I had to join the RCC and get saved and benefit my spiritual life. It may work differently for different individuals. In the nineties, I spoke to one CSI pastor very zealously about the LEF. I said, the LEF does this and does that. I still remember his words. He is no more today. He said, "For how long can the LEF sustain? There will be a day when it fails. It will not be too far away." He did not live to see this ship sink. When I see the LEF sink, his words come ringing in my mind.

DeleteMost people who comment here, including and especially the Whistleblowers, want to see LEF disappear and the Daniels made accountable for their misdeeds. Occasionally there may be a post from someone who does not yet understand that this is the only object of this blog, and the only solution to the suffering that LEF and the Daniels continue to inflict on their naive followers. They are allowing sentiment to affect their reason. Such people, however, are not representative of the purpose for this blog. Nevertheless, unlike the Daniels, the Whistleblowers allow people freedom of speech and opinion - unless, as with your particular discussion topic, the objective of the blogging seems to be being sidetracked into a different arena.
If you can contribute any personal experiences with, or information about, LEF during the time when you were connected with it, that could be very helpful.

Thanks for the reassurance. I do have a few experiences with the LEF. But overall, I was prudent not to waste any amount of significant time or money on it. I jumped the sinking ship way before it sank and without any loss to myself. Now you folks have definitely done a commendable job by exposing a lot of things about the LEF which I am sure benefitted a lot of people. Honestly I sensed all of these scandals(and it may sound exagerrated but I am amazed that I was actually right in my prudence) in the nineties. There was nobody to tell me this, nor was there any blog to educate me. Anyway, now that you have put all the information up here, what is the next logical step?
ReplyDeleteSome people are going to read it, examine it, and leave the LEF. To them, I was recommending the RCC for reasons I already stated. Some other people mostly old-timers are not going to believe what you say, perhaps never leave the LEF at all. I suggest that you leave them there and not worry about them as they will never leave the LEF even if you post another 100 blogs with solid evidence too.
Another step that you can possibly take is to file law-suits with evidences against the financial abuses of the LEF. You will have to consult a lawyer and see if your cases will stand against them.
I do not think, that adding more blogs is of any use to anybody, for with the content you already have, people can read it and make a decision and of course with any amount of new content, there will always be other people who will not agree and leave the LEF.
Therefore besides what I have mentioned here, what other steps are left in this mission? I am curious to know.
