It has been brought to our attention that the pigeon head JJD is having some bright ideas on how to divide and control people. Here are a few things he is trying to implement to ensure that each of these LEF leaders carry tales about the other leaders so that JJD and his dear mom LD can be filled in with all the gossip about what is happening in some of the prominent LEF centers in Andhra.
Some 10 big chamchas (for our foreign readers chamcha is a sycophant and hanger-on or lackey), who are also boot lickers have been made into a traveling team. From reliable sources we know the traveling team consists of Guntur Peter Paul, Warangal Prasanna Kumar, Kakinada Sathyam, Damodhar who got posted to Rajamundry, Vijayawada Priyanath, Suresh Marcus, Nellore Suvarna Rao, Hyderabad Gnanakalanjiam, Vizag Yohanu (???) and may be Ponneri Srihari (???). Please feel free to send comments if you know for sure who made it to this chamcha traveling team. In any case, apparently these chamchas have to travel to a different center every month and are supposed to be spending time in prayer (rather sniff around like dogs to see if they smell something to report to JJD and his rogue mom LD). Think about whose money is going to pay for the travel of these chamchas and also to feed them rich food that they are so used to wherever they congregate. Money is no big deal for LEF rogues as LEF money is free and all of these expenses are pocket change for LEF goons.
Now the next thing on the cards for the upcoming so called Evangelists' Meetings for which his highness John Daniel is going to make a flying visit is to make all the LEF evangelists sign some kind of a contract or an affidavit. We thought we can help in giving some ideas as to what to put on the affidavit/contract based on the way LEF has been operating for decades (just in case some of these have slipped the brilliant minds of LEF crooks).

5. All LEF evangelists and workers should know that they have no authority to chose the LEF administration. LEF administration is chosen by Daniel family members who prayerfully appoint LEF administration.
6. All LEF evangelists and workers should understand that LEF President has implicit authority to buy/sell/mortgage any or all LEF properties to best serve the LEF and expand God's work.
7. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that LEF leadership is not answerable to anybody about how the money collected is spent in LEF. It is done by the sole discretion of LEF president who prayerfully decides how to spend the money.
8. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that all LEF evangelists need to be ready to send their children (including young girls) to Beulah Garden/ HQ/ Bhansi or any other LEF center if the LEF leadership so decides. Also, during this time away from the families, some of these young men and women may come in danger of physically, mentally, emotionally, or sexually being abused. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that LEF leadership and LEF president cannot be held responsible if something untoward happens to these young children. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that this is the attack of the devil when parents do not pray well for their children who are sent for God's work.
9. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that LEF President has to be a Daniel family member as long as LEF exists according to the promise of God given to Mr. N. Daniel, the founder of LEF.
“And as for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD: “My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,” says the LORD, "from this time forth and forevermore.” Whoever questions this appointment of Daniel family member as LEF head will be removed from LEF work without any further delay.

All LEF evangelists and workers understand that the general body and the trustees of LEF are all prayerfully chosen by Daniel family members so as to remove the burden of electing members to make up the general body as the congregation members do not always have the spiritual wisdom to chose the right people.
11. All LEF evangelists and workers understand that they need to educate the congregation that LEF does not believe in memberships and does not give any kind of memberships. Evangelist have to however train the congregation to give their tithes and offerings to LEF as not giving tithes is same as stealing from God. LEF is not for people who need memberships to conduct the marriages and funerals of people and it is also not for those who seek prominent positions in church.

Last but not least, all LEF evangelists and workers understand that we are all in the work of God and we need to work with a single accord and unity of heart to expand God's work to ensure that many are saved and brought into the fold to be faithful to LEF and God's servants till the end of their lives.

An extraordinary report! It is impossible to relate the contents in any way to reality, or to the now well-known (dubious) characteristics of the people who put it together. No mention of James Daniel's honest and brave account at Joshua Daniel's memorial service of how his father turned LEF into a 'goonda' fellowship, and how he warned his own young son 'not to keep the same kind of company as his grandfather (JD) did'.

I was there in Rajahmundry for my degree studies and use to go to LEF for four years, I never seen such a hospitality, care, discipline, dedication I experience from the in charge uncle Shadrach and aunt during my stay. I learnt from them a lot, it was just like a family sharing happiness, needs. I don't know what happened but uncle and many people who prayed for me have left the place and looks empty during my last visit. I talked with some of my old friends there and came to know from their words that the discipline and spirit have left them and coming just on the name of LEF image.

Then the HQ wanted only money and many of the seniors were kicked out and we see the same decline everywher, but the HQ is satisfied with the money, then what to say

Even if they give entire Andhra or south he will be very happy to take and thinks that because of his good deeds his god(or goddess) granted it. Poor chap, he don't know that he should not keep up treasures here on earth. All other Andhra preachers ( rather Chamcha preachers) are in the same line. By serving late JD means serving God, this is what they thought and did and ruined the entire fellowship. You only find human worshippers here.

can anyone tell why satyam prasannkumar muthuchand etc fighting for Rajahmundry? I surely know those people in rjy church are greedy. one person sriramulu and his principal wife are more greedy and covet other's money. by the way sriramulu in the official records and he is known as Christopher in church. Married his daughter to the son of a pentcost pastor but still he is being used in the church. what a double standard followed by the LEF leadership.

DeleteThere was a huge crunch in Rajahmundry offerings since it got apart. Collections are not noticeable, even the members who are still here in Rajahmundry taking much care in dropping their tithes. Of course HQ will only measure the faith with amount of collections received by them. The attendance which they see and offering they receive are not at all balancing. All the former active members are still in Rajahmundry LEF some got singing positions and some are still hungry for preaching positions. All these were once upon a time meek and mild. Due to the lack of proper control, divisions according to their cast formed into groups and are still fighting within. There are secret groups for Kakinada satyam, Prasanna kumar, Dhamodhar, and local group for Christopher seperately. But, some people are acting smart by being common member for multiple groups to protect their existence!! The highlight person in secret is Jim Eliot who plays a muscular role to raise the issues and leave to rest for fighting amongst. Still people are puzzled how could Mr.Christopher managed to be in Rajahmundry LEF? Why he is still trying for position? Why can’t he go and ask his Pentecostal brother in law for a nice job in his ministry.

But they don’t know that it is just like tying the bell to the cat. Poor fellows they feel great that they are special. There is a guarantee that their nature remains same even after their training tenure. Their job is to carry news from their local center to BG. This Church is run by Dr.David Elangovan an ex LEF evangelist /medical missionary .This doctor ,his wife and children have done pioneering work in Kolli Hills near Namakkal.He is a Hindu Convert who spent a great deal of time with Dr.Jayasingh in Royapuram in the 70's.His wife is the daughter of Late Mr.Thomas headmaster of Corley School.Sometime around the late 80's he moved out of LEF and started his ministry.Even while he left he gracefully told JD and WP that he has a different calling and exited the scene .He never backbited or accused individuals in LEF or LEF.He built a Church in Kolli Hills and ministered there.Then he proceeded to London to do his theological studies and returned back to continue his ministry in Salem,Kolli Hills.I would strongly recommend his church to those who wish to move out of LEF.You can learn a lot from his life and the word that is preached by Dr.David Elangovan.
DeleteThe group that meets in Bethel Hall, Kellys (see anonymous July 11 ) is pastored by Joshua Edwin, and is very similar. Joshua recommends the preacher at the Tamil service (with whom they have a close relationship) as having one of the finest expository preaching ministries currently available. Not sure whether this might be the same person. At any rate, either of these fellowships in Chennai would be very helpful to LEF people.
DeleteHow interesting to read of Dr. David's historic connection with LEF and Dr. Jayasingh; also that he studied theology in London. I wonder if this was at the Metropolitan Tabernacle school of ministry, under Peter Masters? Or possibly the London Theological Seminary? He would surely have an understanding of what many LEF people are trying to put behind them. Both these pastors might be able to recommend similar ministries in other parts of India. I think somebody was enquiring about Calcutta, or Delhi.....

There is also a similar Tamil church, whose pastor is apparently known for his fine preaching ministry. These churches are self-governing (not dominated by one person or family, and not telling you what do with your money, or whom to marry. There would be a membership and church meetings if any church matters need to be decided).

DeleteI think the fact that N. Daniel was influenced by Brethren tradition is probably a good reason not to go to Brethren assemblies! Their ideas about church government are not necessarily that Biblical, and in fact most Brethren Asemblies in the UK have now become evangelical churches. In trying to correct the abuses of the Anglican system of the time, the Brethren went to the opposite extreme and stopped having pastors altogether. Some Brethren beliefs are extreme, for example J.N. Darby, probably their most famous writer/leader, introduced unbiblical beliefs concerning the second coming of Jesus. These beliefs have since become common, and are misleading many. The Schofield Bible is one result.
The last thing LEF people need are groups which are similar to LEF, but they do need to study Christian doctrine in order to discern in which fellowships Biblical doctrine and church order are best observed. However even Brethren assemblies have got to be better than LEF.......

ReplyDeleteNot sure what you mean by 'this kind of set-up is not new' etc. Biblical church government is never new, since it goes back to the dawn of the New Testament church which we read about in Acts and the epistles. You are right in urging people to read the Bible so that they will understand how God intended us to order our churches, and be able to advocate these principles and practices, and then openly take issue with anyone who seeks to damage a fellowship by ignoring them; or moderate them if, as a result of ongoing, corporate Bible study, they find they have not got them quite right. That is part of the purpose of regular church meetings.
In the epistles, in particular, we see that dissensions, and people seeking unwarranteded power, go right back to the beginning of the New Testament church. The intention of trying to order one's church on New Testament lines is vital in order to be able to deal with and discipline rogue 'leaders' and others who try to acquire or abuse power. We shall never do it perfectly because we are a fallen people, but we should keep this as our aim.
It would be great to see groups of ex-LEF folk begin their own churches and study together in order to adopt New Testament patterns in practices and leadership. However to 'try to change LEF from within' is a non-starter. In order for it to remain 'LEF' worshippers would have to maintain LEF practices and traditions, which are largely unbiblical , especially in terms of leadership. Joshua Daniel, and I suspect his parents, have kept LEF worshippers ignorant of what the Bible really says about church leadership and order (and many other things) - whether through their own ignorance or whether because they wanted to preserve their own positions of power, or both, one cannot say. Biblical doctrine generally has not been taught in LEF, which has existed for decades on a diet of imposed 'holiness' (according to flawed Daniel understanding). The Saviour's love has been suffocated.
Some people are looking for churches where a more Biblical pattern of order is maintained. These links are for them. Others may wish to set up their own groups, as above. It could be useful to observe, for a while, how Biblically ordered churches function. However the worst advice you can give is to encourage people to try to turn LEF into a legitimate church. It is a thoroughly rotten apple and needs to be discarded in favour of a healthy seed which will become a healthy tree. By all means carry over positive practices from the past, such as genuine, regular prayer, but do not try to build on foundations of sand any longer. Some people may feel The Lord leading them to set up new, independent groups; others may prefer to profit from the fellowship and comparatively sound teaching offered by the churches referred to above. Each believer must ask The Lord to guide him. Neither course of action is wrong in itself.
You are right in saying that we should not rely on 'customs'. However some 'customs' are in fact well-thought through, legitimate Biblical practices, and we should not despise them just because these practices have rightly become customary. The Lord's supper and baptism were Biblical commands and are now customs in the Christian church!

DeleteIn India there is a need for more worshipping communities of Christ followers who care.
Xtianity is not rocket science and it would be very easy for some in LEF congregations to create Life Groups, Bible Studies, and such communities that could may be even grow into churches.
LEF congregations have some good practices such as prayer and fasting. Some who desire to create new worshipping communities have potential for starting communities with strengths that will, I think, benefit the whole body of Christ.
Also, if current LEF congregations were to take the sacraments often, that I think can greatly add in a positive way
About 25 years ago, JD made a surprising confession

general public heard this): he said that he had gone
to certain LEF centers to preach because he knew
that they would give big offerings. He asked
the crowd for forgiveness. What prompted this admission
is unclear, but it raises many questions:
1) If JD was at a center or retreat, could he simply
expect that the whole offering would be given to him?
2) Did JD claim that the offering was being used for
broader LEF expenses? Is there any record of this?
3) Do John Daniel and Lily Daniel follow this same
devious practice today?
This is yet another call for the LEF to be transparent.
If your church or fellowship is not accountable, they don't
deserve your money.
I suspect that he made this 'confession' for strategic purposes. Firstly, sin seems to stop being so serious when confessed by Joshua Daniel. He repeatedly (and tediously!) recounted his boyhood misdemeanours from the platform. They were, according to him, mostly in thought rather than in deed. Secondly, by 'confessing' to such thinking at the height of his power, he ensured that people would believe that he was truly repentant and would, in future, be careful not to let such thoughts overcome him any more; in fact people at the time of his 'confession' would not have realised that the avaricious thoughts he was confessing to had actually translated themselves into deeds long before, and would continue to do so to the end of his life. The 'confession' was, therefore, probably a kind of insurance policy against people suspecting his dubious use of their tithes and offerings. A cunning man, quite capable of this kind of cunning action.
DeleteAltho it wasn't a confession, one time JD talked about christian love and how it manifests as being able to rejoice when your brother has a good car. I remember how odd and out-of context these remarks were at the time and I immediately thot that he was responding to someone's criticism of him or his family in the U.S. from the platform. All the time I wasted listening to a preacher with a bad conscience. In retrospect he behaved as someone with something to hide.

DeleteItinerary preachers who preach in Rajahmundry are taking 20% of the offering as travelling expense. The counting and accounting team is carefully chosen by these preachers. Preachers are lured by bringing Food Carriers (Containers) with delicious sea foods (Which is famous in the region) by some Stage anticipating people. By feeding the preachers they are expecting a part in the worship - Singing, Bible reading and preaching. One preacher who is obsessed with this delicious food wanted to grab the center but ruined his health in the process. In-house competition too exist between different parties. One claiming to be a Bible trainee and other a Hindu in office and a Translator in LEF....lol. His translation on 12th July for the online message of JJD is horrible (most of time it is the same). No spirituality, no accountability, poor administration has made it a mere place of gathering than a Church. Notable thing is - few cameras are installed recently which are supposed to live stream the services to HQ (Not sure to HQ or just recorded). What difference will it bring? a new competition ?

Sriramulu is the main culprit along with jim Elliot. but why hq not taking action against them is not understood. perhaps these two bribed gunalan? there is a saying that gunalan, IC etc used to take lot of bribes (err. gifts) from Andhra people to hide their activities. Sad that the innocent church goers are being ruined.

sriramulu worked in ground water dept of AP govt and retired. he helped so many to loot the govt funds, once he accepted it unofficially.

Jim will keep coming to Rajahmundry till church get completely vanished, he never brought any sole to church but he ruins the soles who comes to the church. His eyes are tuned to detect the faults in others not in his. He is disturbing young boys by discouraging them. He is the one being trained at BG since 4 years surprisingly !!! Hello trainer !! at BG did you noticed his nature ? make sure to cover a chapter in your training course at least. Have you ever ask him on which leave he is coming to BG for training on ? SL - Sick leave ? Is he really sick ? If you could not make him change his nature Rajahmundry center will award you a memento with his photo of "Jim Eliot - trained but unchanged" and guaranteed that he never change.

Holydays declared for mid week prayers at Rajahmundry. But announced “not to miss Sunday worship”. Because it is the only day collections will come without begging. LEF needs collections rather than prayer burden of Hindu pilgrims coming for pushkarams (for a dip in river). At least the senior believers should gather at one place and pray for these idol worshipers. But no such interest for none.
