Looks like Lily Daniel is lost in the woods. Her dear daughter, Betty is frantically looking for her mother and is mobilizing her 5000+ Facebook friends to get on a search team to locate her mother. Apparently the "Head Quarters Answering Service" is not transferring the call to Lily Daniel. Why blame these poor so called "HQ answering service people" if Lily Daniel was the one who must've given strict instruction not to let Betty's call through? Doesn't Lily Daniel have a mobile phone that Betty can call? What kind of sick drama is this? Are people supposed to be saddened and be heart broken to hear that the poor Betty is in search of her helpless mother who went missing that too on her birthday? Is poor Betty so lost without her loving mother?!!! Should all LEF people now declare a fast and pray to bring back the missing mom so that Betty can have a happy reunion with her estranged mother? After all, all that poor Betty wanted to do is honor her mother by wishing her Happy Birthday for her mother to have LOOOOOOOONG LIFE. True, Lily Daniel does indeed need a long life as there are still some more families left in LEF that have not come under her wicked grip. The wicked witch Lily Daniel still has some unfinished job of utterly and completely destroying families. She certainly needs many many more years added to her life to make up for all the days she was hidden away in LEF closets. Joshua Daniel hung on to dear life way too long and that kept this power hungry monster Lily Daniel away from the lime light that she craved for for all these years. Poor Lily Daniel had to wait in queue for 80 years to usurp the power and now that she is enjoying all the lime light, how can she die so soon? Let all LEF people wish her many many more years of wicked life to ruin and loot innocent people and destroy whatever little her husband did not manage to destroy.

ReplyDeleteWB, I think Betty was referring to the Bible verse which reads ' honour thy father and thy mother that thy days may be long'; in other words, Betty wants her own days to be long, not those of her mother! Of course Betty's understanding of Scripture is so deficient that you may be right in your interpretation, but the demise of Lily would leave the field open for Betty to insinuate herself back into LEF circles. With her brother John being too inept even to get or keep a job, and those who still support corrupt LEF being too foolish or blinkered or brainwashed to understand how they are being abused by cultish people, that would be quite easy. All her Facebook flatterers would back her - unless, like all of us, their reasons for tracking her are not particularly 'friendly'!
On the balance of probability, I think that on this occasion Betty did actually understand the scripture verse she quoted! She is well over 50 and overweight, whilst Lily is well over eighty, but healthily slim, amd apparently still going strong, so Betty does need to 'honour' Lily - albeit with just a birthday greeting - if she is to improve her chances of outliving her mother.
Oh ok, So, the motive behind Betty's desperation to wish her mother on her birthday is also for Betty's selfishness. Now I get it. So, Betty wants to wish her mother Happy birthday so that she can get her reward of "long life" by honoring her mother by wishing her Happy birthday. Seems like a pretty easy and straight forward deal. So, all people need to do is wish their parents happy birthday by hook or by crook to have a guaranteed long life!!! Looks like I gave too much credit to Betty's desire to wish her mother Happy birthday. I somehow thought Betty wanted more years to be added to her already lengthy and cursed life of her mom. Now I am confused about which is the least of all the evils: mother having a long life or daughter having a long life or both of them having long lives!!! I arranged meetings at a Salvation Army facility and invited a woman who had slight to moderate mental problems yet not too unstable or an interruption at a meeting. She itroduced herself to JD-LD and left and JD was complaining about her as if such a person shd.n't be at his meetings. I was kind of taken aback by his attitude then. There was an Indian woman that I invited-L Sinha- and he/they were not welcoming to her. I don't believe JD spoke with her at all. Never saw her again. After enough personal observations both in India and the U.S. I started to doubt....
ReplyDeleteI always had the impression that Joshua Daniel liked to think of himself as a sort of 'honorary Brit' - all those fantasies he promoted about having been recruited into a British Bible College, but being allowed to absent himself 'because the Lord needed him in a British revival'; the emphasis on his cricket skills (he seemed to think that devotion to cricket partly defines a Brit!); and various other little acquired nuances in his speech and actions. He was certainly a lot more considerate towards any Brits who attended his retreats (only about 4 at various times, if you don't count those who originated in the West Indies but had settled in the Brixton area of London) than he appears to have been towards his fellow-Indians.

He did not have any profession or trade to offer, anything that the UK would want, and he couldn't have claimed that he needed asylum. Do you know how he managed to get accepted into the USA, Terry? Years ago I was puzzled by the signs of jealousy I spotted in some of the men if they thought that JD favoured a particular person. Who in their right mind would want, or be flattered by, Joshua Daniel's favour, either then or now? It was, and is, nauseating to see people fawning over Joshua, Lily, and now John Daniel, an ungifted, work-shy, hypocritical bunch of reprobates.
Please, people, don't waste your time chewing over their unpleasant characters and their many misdemeanours. Just get up and go, and if you have, or when you do, tell us about it here so that we can rejoice with you and others can be encouraged to follow suit!

The only thing that signifies is to know what is the solution to our common state of sinfulness, how we can relate to God, and pursue it.

DeleteNot quite sure what you mean, but if something is evil isn't it our duty to protect our children from it? As one of the Whistleblowers told us from experience, it is possible for a courageous mother to resist LEF even if her husband is deeply involved, and thus protect her children. Conversely, it is possible for adult sons and daughters - even teenagers - to resist parental influence if it is a bad, even if it is disguised as 'the way of salvation'. I wouldn't want to underestimate the difficulty, and even sadness, involved in this happening in an Indian family, but the fact that people have done it means that it can be done!
That is why those who have left LEF, or resisted LEF influence in their own families, need to tell us about it here - to encourage others into freedom.
If Jesus died to set us free, as the Bible tells us he did, why would anyone seeking spiritual truth choose imprisonment in a cult like LEF, with jailers like the Daniels and their admirers?
Thanks for clarifying. That's a whole different debate to have to examine if LEF people really are in search of truth or worse still found the truth. Seeing that their sense of right and wrong is so warped, I sometimes wonder if these people ever honestly set out on a journey to find the truth that they profess to follow. How in the world did people find this dubious LEF as a way to lead them to The Divine Truth? It is a perplexing question that I ask myself when I see some people having a struggle of their life time to call an obviously black object black. These are people who give tall testimonies about what all they did to set their conscience right at the time of their "conversion" as they call it. May I ask - What did they get "converted into"? Did they convert into becoming spineless men and women who cannot stand up to this 80+ year old wicked woman and ask her to stop playing games with people? What was their whole deal with conversion? Are people in LEF people living a Big LIE? Was this whole conversion just an emotional experience that initiated them into this cult? After running this blog for over a year now, I am forced to ask these basic, blunt and rudimentary questions. If any of this was in the realm of spirituality, how did we end up having so many people who are acting like they are spiritually dead corpses? Are we giving way too much credit to them by recognizing them as some kind of group that is doing work in spiritual realm? May be we need to change our strategy and give them the same treatment that we would give to thugs for these rogues to get scared and run away. We have just started this new strategy of using people from the secular world to go and question and challenge these rogues and it seems to be working way better than begging and pleading that we patiently tried for many many years. An arrogant, incompetent and undeserving evangelist from a big center in Telengana got a taste of what it means to face people whom he cannot scare off with his solid connections with Lily Daniel and Co. He challenged us in his arrogance and said- sitting in US, what can you all do? He got a first taste of what all we are capable of doing. There is more in the pipeline. Do we see the Daniels and their henchmen acknowledging all the ongoing wrongdoing we know about from personal experience, or have read about here? Do we see them 'battling' against the evil inclinations that make them behave as they do, not just on impulse, but all the time and calculatedly? What are the 'fruits' produced by the Daniel family? Lies, deception, bullying, dishonest appropriation of money and property, spiritual pride, abuse of vulnerable people.......we could go on.
I well remember how Joshua Daniel used to boast from the platform how God had delivered him from youthful lusts. What about the rest of his long life, during which he looted, damaged, and misled countless individuals and families? No mention of that.......
I recall one local 'leader' being so thrilled that, after some decades, God had 'convicted' him of having stolen a few rupees from a classmate at school. He went to great lengths to try to locate his 'victim' (by then also a middle-aged man) and return the coins. He seemed to think that this was some kind of triumph of faith. LEF even invented a verb, 'to restitute' (not to be found in normal English speech) to describe this kind of pharisaical thinking and activity.
When LEF people meet Jesus face to face, and he asks them, 'In what way did you follow me?', will they say 'Lord, in your name we sent the 'bus company 100 rupees to pay for the fare we avoided twenty years ago, and we have given LEF all our time and money so that the Daniels can live in the USA and build fancy centres as a means of dominating and looting us and providing perpetual monuments to themselves', or will they say, 'Lord, we know that we can never live up to what you require of us, but we thank you for dying on the cross so that, despite the wickedness of our hearts, we can be accepted into your family'?
There is no emotion,love , values or truth but brutal business . Both top and so called faithful. They betray each othet. ReplyDeleteLef believes in the doctrine of conversion. When we repent and restitute we set right our conscience to be able to face God on the day of judgement for God is righteous and holy. Lef believes that this conversion alone guarantees them a place in heaven. But after conversion the life and testimony of the converted person is not observed. Converted people do not become sinless people after that. That is a big problem. Is' nt it better to plead for God's mercy on us sinners on a daily basis.

How right you are to remind us daily to acknowledge and depend alone on God's mercy revealed in Christ's sacrifice for our sin.
We should also remember that exposing false religion, as with LEF, will not help us if we fail to seek and observe true religion.
Once the lef gives the individual the certificate of spiritual approval at conversion the person does not realise that he needs to have clean conscience till his last breath. That means he has to get converted every time he sins.

DeleteAre you saying that LEF actually does require a 're-conversion' every time a person sins? Or that logically LEF teaching on this should require 're-conversion' every time a person sins? Or that a person really does need to be 're-converted' every time he/she sins?
Just to avoid confusion: conversion (being changed from a spiritually dead person into a spiritually alive to God person ) is the result of being born again by the Holy Spirit. It only happens once; people do not keep having to be born again and converted, neither can they be, each time they repent of a misdeed.
However LEF places great importance on what it calls 'restitution', to the extent of (falsely) making such acts essential to the validity of one's acceptance by God. Time and time again I have heard testimonies in which people (almost gleefully!) report how, directed by Joshua Daniel or others, they searched their memories for every single misdeed they ever committed, so that they could 'repent ' of each one and put things right ('restitute').
The result is that LEF people can never be sure of their salvation. The consequences of some misdeeds cannot be rectified for practical reasons; and our misdeeds are in fact so many that it would take more than our lifetime ( time which could better spent on active service in the Lord!) to remember and repent of each one, especially as they keep being added to on a daily basis! Jesus did not die to make us brood endlessly over our murky pasts, afraid that we might have missed out some detail that needs to be individually forgiven, and thus not be fully qualified for heaven!
Jesus died that our inherently sinful disposition should be changed. That 'sin should no more have dominion over us'. We keep on sinning after conversion, but sin does not dictate to us as it did before our conversion. We have been freed from that imprisonment.
Telling people to try to remember all their misdeeds is not biblical. It is the Holy Spirit's task to convict when necessary, not ours. When we die there will always be misdeeds that still lies dormant in our consciousness, and unconfessed. Christians trust the Lord to have accepted them as they are, to have taken on himself the punishment they deserve, not to be making a list of their lifelong wrongdoings to be held against them on the day of judgement.
Having a clean conscience as Christians is another matter. It means that we acknowledge our wrongdoing to God as soon as the Spirit convicts us, experience the sadness of having grieved him, put things right as far as possible, and rejoice that Jesus has taken the punishment for this and every other misdeed we have committed. Trumpeting about our sins in meetings often does more harm than good, and can aggravate spiritual pride.
Jesus came to free us 'from the law of sin and death'.
I think the fault of LEF teaching lies not teaching doctrinally what it means by being born again. If u carefully listen to many testimonies it appears as though one's confession and restitution saves one from sin. It's simply pathetic. The true work of the a Holy Spirit in regeneration is not doctrinally clarified to seekers. In the end, if salvation is to be judged by one's restitution and confession or setting right of conscience alone, JD was not truly converted because he died without reconciling with his sister and so much financial irregularities he allowed without restitution before he breathe his last.

ReplyDeleteLef preachers are not familiar with biblical doctrine, so they cannot be expected to teach or clarify bible truths. They have had no formal bible college training. All of them only preach repentance and restitution as the means of being saved. St. Paul had no means of undoing his past. So he was an advocate of being saved by grace. Lef people do not move forward spiritually because they always dwell on the past. St. Peter was forgiven so many times for his impusiveness. Lef preachers keep emphasing each week for atleast 45 minutes 'The wages of sin is death'. They do not continue with preaching the rest of the text 'but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord'.
ReplyDeleteThank You for saying that. I strongly support your analysis. I called a guy who is working as a pastor for LEF(Tagarapuvalasa, Vizag). I asked him about confessing sins of ancestors. When I was attending his bible study, he said that I was supposed to confess my ancestor's parents which is inconsistent with New Covenant. I told him to read the verse Jeremiah 31:29-30. Yet, he wouldn't agree that he was wrong.But he said that God gives different level of understanding to each person ..LOL. He doesn't believe in the doctrine of Sola Scriptura. Crazy LEF leaders

DeleteHow refreshing to see 'sola scriptura' here, and read a true analysis of LEF's deficient understanding and teaching of the precious Gospel. 'How shall they hear and believe....' asked the apostle Paul, 'if they do not hear the Gospel preached?'. It makes one worry as to how many LEF followers are truly born again. Talk about restitution and 'praying for your ancestors' is common in the world and even in pagan beliefs. Talk about prayer and 'fasting' is cheap. 'holy' facial expressions are easy to mimic.
Please, LEF followers, find a sound and sober and genuine church, and test your salvation against true Christian teaching. We all need to 'make our calling and election sure' from time to time, as we are told in the Bible.

ReplyDeleteI have been closely following up LEFI since we had some group of doctors working in our mission hospitals in Tamil nadu and also in North like Bihar and Dimapur.Some of them are really fire for God and their passion really challenged us.What made me write this blog is this organisation lost some precious souls because of their arrogance.Recently i got a call from Head of Dept.in one of our hospitals located in Tamilnadu.So the information is at second hand which may be prone for errors.kindly bear with me.
ReplyDeleteThere came a doctor from kashmir after serving there for seven years.his parents abandoned him for his faith.but he kept on.though no support,either financially,moral nor emotional came from kashmir during his stay with us..he persevered.Bro.M.C.Mathews took initiative and got him married to a kannada girl staying at connoor who did her engineering,but knows nothing about mission.because her mother was closely associated and prayer partner with Lily,she slowly started taking control of him which he did not like.constant verbal abuse by her calling his wife over phone made him to dissociate permanently with LEFI.Bro.M.C.Mathews blamed the mission hospital that we spoiled him and poisoned him with negative thoughts against LEFI.infact we always encouraged peopleto be in their churches and be a blessing there, and recieve blessing there.
Verbal, emotional , even physical abuse has no limits in LEF for them to fulfill their greed. If sone one has a good life if you want to understand what horror many go through did deep in some LEF pulpit people families. You will not see anywhere in the world.
DeleteThe recent one he told me of another doctor really staggered me.His parents are elders in LEF Church.After his graduation he briefly stayed in their Bible School.Came to same mission hospital four years back.Has been a great help not only in medical work but also helping young boys in the campus and also neighbouring medical colleges.He was called by Lilly last july and told him to consider her daughter Lydia who was forty two years old in prayer through John daniel her son.This Chap straight away told NO because of age.But they persisted to pray.He was unhappy and came off.Bro.M.C.Mathews called him and enquired all details and said he was told by Lilly to take personal care of him.He told the same happened to a guy who was twenty six years old in US and he along with Family are struggling a lot past two years.He suggested to prayerfully cosider a LEF Doctor who would help him in mission field through parents and he would take the matter to Lilly, if both sides are ok.So these parents found a girl and both parties prayed and were confident that this is God's will and informed M.C.Mathews.He said this is not the time to tell them.We will wait.But this poor boy's father frankly wrote everything to John Daniel regarding this matter.Lilly calls this boy and slams him badly.i know it may be a shock for any mother who is on top family in an organisation for somebody saying NO to her girl and finding another girl in same organisation.But they did this with the consent of the elder in chennai.which she forgot.The same Bro.M.C.Mathes and Connoor JR told him lily will call you next time to suggest a nurse for you who is an evangelist daughter from orissa.She had two lovers earlier and now in live in relationship with another guy.Dont get into trouble by even considering her to pray.This poor boy totally confused came back and lost his senses, wandering.We spoke to him.prayed for him.Told him to wait patiently and God would speak to your elders in right time.Mean while we sent him to different places in North India so that he would forget all these traumatic experiences and become normal.

ReplyDeleteHe waited for six months.last week he told me that his sister's marriage was arranged and organised by lilly and john through LEF.His parents expected both marriages to be conducted at same time.Lilly sends a message to this boy saying if you leave the girl whom your parents proposed and you prayed about,....a believer,same organisation,both parties told each other that God guided them....i will give a new proposal and your marriage will be conducted at the same date as your sister's.if NOT come and meet me in camp during May.This boy comes and says to me...I'm out of LEF.I'm not going to meet her.whatever happens let it happen.Suddenly i remembered Ravi few years back with same frustration...i called my friend in Tabernacle, Connoor and tried to explain the situation,because i dont want this boy to be detached from the church and the church blaming us that whom ever it sends to us are going out of it..He said if this is from the first family, nobody can help.only loyals sorry slaves to daniel family survive here..

this boy's parents also done emotional black mail to the parents like Lilly & Joe did. so you reap what you sow. marriages in LEF are not for God's Kingdom. they are like what others do looking for all worldly qualities , only difference they search within LEF.

Can you believe that 80+ year old woman Lily Daniel has to now frantically scout for a groom for her 42 year old daughter. Knowing that her time is short, Lily Daniel has now opened the floor for any boy to apply for the position of being her son-in-law. Age, caste, creed, nationality, color, height, weight are all no bar. Can we suggest some matrimonial sites to give a broader reach? Oh no!!! That's not an option as Daniels abhor use of technology. Too bad for you, Lydia Daniel, you are missing out on a lot of prospective grooms. Try and sneak it in, Lydia Daniel. You know how to. Wasn't there some talk that Lydia Daniel had in a live-in relationship with a Muslim guy and also some talk about her having her "own private time" with the infamous John Branch?
DeleteIn any case, it is rather interesting to see the Daniel family running around to find a groom. Who would have thought that they will be paying back for all their sins like this? How many parents and young people spent countless years waiting at Joshua Daniel's door step to get his "permission" on marriage issues? How many parents were arm twisted to get raw deals for their children's marriages? How many young people waited way past 30 years of age to get married and were eventually manipulated to get married to the most incompatible spouses? God keeps up the accounts balanced in His own unique way!!! In any case, we would like to wish all the luck to Daniel family as they are frantically searching for a son-in-law and at the same time give a huge word of caution for the boys and also to their parents not to succumb to any kind of pressure. Daniels are known predators and please do not fall prey to them especially when it comes to something as crucial as marriage.

Don't ever give room to self doubt that you are separating/detaching these young boys from their "church." This LEF is not a church. It is a hell hole. Let not M.C. Matthew get to you. These men are agents of this evil family who have lost any and all sense of right and wrong. You are doing a great service by advising and helping these boys. You are in a very unique position to help this boy from being sucked into this hell hole. Please encourage this boy to stay away from Lily Daniel and her evil kingdom. Don't you clearly see how wicked is this Lily Daniel? She is now using the marriage of this boy's sister to blackmail him into marrying the girl of Lily Daniel's choice. What kind of wickedness is this? Please, help this boy to stay away.

Most people in lef do no leave it because they believe that only lef doctine is right. According to lef the doctrine taught in other churches is wrong. This is the main reason why so many still continue to come to the lef inpite of the articles written in this blog.

'Only we have the truth' is how all cults entrap people and keep them trapped. Such blind followers are often too lazy to examine biblical truth for themselves. It might explain why semi-literate, relatively uneducated people are afraid to leave LEF, or even educated but emotionally unstable people. Another reason would be that some have a vested interest in the power or status they think LEF gives them in certain circles, especially if they are related to LEF stalwarts, either dead or alive.
The worst kind of cowardly hypocrite is the one who complains about LEF covertly, or posts against LEF here anonymously, but still attends its meetings and gives it money (excluding those very vulnerable LEF wives who would love to take themselves and their children away from LEF, but are being physically and psychologically bullied by their brainwashed husbands and families).
Lily Daniel appears to be an elderly disaster on legs. Why are people paying any attention to her?
Now this is side-tracking the fascinating topic of Lily Daniel a bit, but still an interesting illustration of the self-orientated stupidity of Daniel offspring and their spouses (multiple spouses in some cases......)
ReplyDeleteMr. Betty Daniel the Third (a.k.a. Chuck Lamdin) repeatedly posts on Facebook that his church, Miami Village Church, 'feeds the poor'.
Last time he did this he posted, immediately afterwards, that he was 'with his love' (we hope this means Betty.....) eating in the 'Dalhido Gourmet and Sushi restaurant'. More lobster for you two, Chuck? Do you take your poverty-stricken church attenders with you on your frequent 'foodie' trips? Or rather, as we suspect, do you leave them tucking into the economy tins of baked beans your church bestows on them whilst you feast on the best sea food South Bend can supply? We wonder who pays for your gourmet interests..... can't be Van Camp Insurance, can it? Not with the dreadful online reviews that that 'company' has attracted........

DeleteAny legal action would be a 'tort', or civil action. To bring an action of libel against those who write on this site, any person who wished to sue for possible defamation of character (libel) would have to prove:
1. That the written or otherwise broadcast material on the basis of which they are suing was untrue
2. That they had suffered demonstrable damage because of what was written
3. That there was clear malicious intent
Expressing an opinion which is plainly merely an opinion is not culpable. Stating something as fact which is demonstrably not fact is culpable.
I think the burden of proof in all cases is on the person who sues for libel.
However it behoves us all to make sure that what we write as fact can be proven.
It may be that someone more familiar with Indian law can confirm the above.

Isn't it interesting that with all the money at their disposal (other people's money, sometimes termed by the Daniels as 'God's money') none of the Daniels or their henchmen has made any attempt to launch legal action? This can only be because:
1. Nothing that has been written here about them is untrue
2. The only damage they may have suffered is a loss of income (which wasn't theirs in the first place, and they surely wouldn't want to have to explain about that in court!)
3. Exposing wrongdoing to prevent more wrongdoing can never be described as acting with malicious intent.
I wonder what happened to John Daniel's lame attempt to silence one of the whistleblowers with a fake telephoned warning from a very dubious (alleged) policeman?

Dear people... It's been said wrongly by some cultic followers that if you leave LEF something bad will happen to you. There are several testimonies which prove that leaving LEF is in fact a wisest step you can take to free yourself from the of man-made rules and religion and become truly free in Christ. LEF doesn't teach the true joy that is in Jesus. Sometimes you will realise that top leaders like Lily Daniel has no true peace or joy in the Lord herself. I myself have disassociated from LEF and found greater joy in Christ. Christ wants us to grow grounded in Him and his word.. But if you're in LEF you'll be babe al your life and exploited and controlled by people like John Daniel etc and not by the Holy Spirit. The choice is yours: Slavery under Daniels regime or Freedom in Christ.

Nobody I know who has left LEF has ever regretted it or suffered as a result (except maybe some, once free, have felt embarrassed about how they could have been duped by this cult for so many years).
Many who think they are serving the LORD in LEF are more into getting recognized by others mainly by Daniels for their own worldly gain. Allways they are forced to look like Godly or people afraid of being condemned. Many act in front of others what they really are not. Not only this is a pitiful slavery soo contrary to what bible says in. Galatians 1:10 Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? Or am I trying to please people?
